Paid $9 for a burger, sweet tea, 5 cheese bites, and 4 tiny onion rings. Food was good, but got shorted on the sides.

I have to hand it to this Cook Out location! I’ve eaten at a lot of restaurants and I have to say this experience is ONE OF THE BEST I have ever had when it comes to fast food. When you walk in, it reminds you of a steakhouse. But it’s not cluttered and there is a lot of open space. The decor on the walls is welcoming to us southern folk. The floors and bathrooms are squeaky clean. The prices here are just unbelievably unbeatable. $6.99 for my lunch. A “tray” as they call it. I got a double burger loaded with ingredients, side of fries (perfectly seasoned and hot/crispy), and onion rings (perfectly cooked), and a drink. Now tell me you can find another place with this fast and extremely friendly service that also offers these prices for the portioning of food. You can’t! The experience was flawless. And thank you to the staff for providing an excellent meal and customer service. Will definitely be back. Was not expecting this high-tier quality trip through Jacksonville. Kudos!

Stopped at this location 3-8-25 after passing it by several times. I ordered the double burger with ketchup, mustard, and mayo only with fries and hush puppies. The service and the food was excellent. But the 1 thing that topped it all was the hush puppies. Thankfully they are not real big because I could probably eat 2 dozen of them. Another good thing is price, $8.38. I will definitely be eating there again and again, if you haven't you should.

I eat lunch daily at this spot. Located near college, not only is it affordable, it's amazingly fresh. The staff is great, the parking is good and the inside is nice. Highly recommend..

Great Cookout! Food was excellent and the restaurant was nice and clean. Just make sure when you are paying that the cashier gives you the correct change. My cashier started to give me extra money back. The restaurant was decked out in Jacksonville State decorations and a mix of hunting and fishing photos.

hey i’ve been going to this place for almost 2 yrs now and i would’ve never expected to have to write a review about this but when i opened my burger and flipped it over there was 2 spots of mold on the bottom of the bun , and also they’re was a hair in my tray , this place is definitely a 1/10 wouldn’t recommend eating here and also the employees never wear gloves or hair nets and that also needs be addressed. IF SUBWAY HAS TO WEAR GLOVES THEY SHOULD TOO.

The burgers here taste just like I cooked them in my backyard on my own grill. You get a choice of your toppings on the burger and two sides. Old fashioned sliced pickles, lengthwise not round and lettuce nice thick slices of onion. It comes dry so you add your own condiments. I ordered the big double burger plate and was filled nicely. It also came with a side of a bacon wrap with thick sliced bacon 😋 Also a side of onion rings
Definitely will come back😋😋😋
The only downside is, the sides could be bigger

The food was hot and fresh. The burgers tend to be a little charred, which isn't my preference, but still good. The onion rings were impeccable. The fries were not Cajun as ordered (no seasoning) but fresh and good as well. The hush puppies were and are always good. The food is affordable and tastes good. You won't regret dropping in.
