I stayed here along a multi day electric unicycle ride. This review is for two stellar employees whom I had the pleasure of meeting. So to upper management- please take notice and acknowledge the outstanding quality of service that they provide to your team. It’s only because of good folks like these who make me want to come back in the future.

Imani, the front desk clerk, was VERY professional. I was really tired coming off the trail and Imani couldn’t have been any more competent at her job. She was courteous, very knowledgeable, and instantly made me feel at home. Thank you, Imani. You conduct yourself in a dignified and humble way, which can be very rare.

Deb, the morning kitchen worker, not only did a superb job of food presentation, but really made me feel good with her kindness and caring that she showed me. When I told her about riding my EUC for several hundred miles, her intentions (vocalized) for me to stay safe really touched my soul. It was obvious to me that she’s a real empath and the world needs more beautiful people like her. Thank you, Deb, you are a very cool person and God bless you 🙏.

I have this 3 stars due to staff alone. They are all awesome. Front desk. Breakfast area. Custodial staff. All top notch. The rooms are clean but this place is in need of a big makeover. Everything is dated. My biggest gripe is the hot water. It’s a 50/50 chance you’ll have hot water. We have stayed several nights here as well as relatives. We have all experienced the water issue. This needs to be fixed or we will likely have to stay somewhere else.

The cleanliness of the bathrooms is unacceptable. They moved me to 4 different rooms and they all were about same in filth. I had to buy Clorox spray to clean it as best as I could for the night. One of the shower walls had a bandaid stuck to it. Just nasty. The staff was very nice, but all they did was continue to offer me one dirty bathroom after the other. One of the employees that took me in each room to check the showers was embarrassed. As I would have been too.

Its a dump. Aging rooms that are poorly maintained and not well cleaned. Not vacuumed, dirty walls, mildew i. The shower, broken shower head, damaged and worn furniture. To top it off, the hot water goes out for multiple rooms. I address with the front desk and state “I am going to dinner, let me know if it can be fixed or if you need to move me when I get back” and I provide my room number. When i come back, front desk said something along the lines of “you weren’t here so I gave the room to someone else” than proceeds to scurry and find a room realizing she forgot.

What is so hard about “I am going to dinner, here is my room number, I am giving you time to fix it, please have it fixed or a new room key for me when I get back”

After driving 10 hours with a 7 month old, we were exhausted and stopped at this location for rest. Upon check-in Jessica was pleasant. The lobby looked clean and well kept. Once we opened the door to our room it was a different experience. The room smelled stale and dirty. The carpets were stained and filthy. There was a layer of dust on the side tables, hair stuck to the walls/bathroom door. There were hairs and yellow stains on and under the bedding and upon further inspection there were also bed bugs on the mattress. The stains on the bedding matched the stains on the mattress, which means they were not cleaned. The towels in the bathroom had black specks on them and there were teeny ants crawling all around the bathroom sink. There was mold in the showers as well. The bench at the foot of the bed looked pissed on. The chair at the desk also stained and full of hair. We immediately grabbed our bags and headed down to the lobby for a refund. Unfortunately, "that can only be done by the general manager and she is on vacation until Monday". After reading the reviews here I decided to reach out to corporate for my refund and bypass this location altogether. I'm itching just writing this. Absolutely disgusting rooms, would not recommend to anyone.

Check in was flawless...clerk was super nice, however...
Once ready for bed, which was close to midnight, I discovered that my linen/pillows reaked of pooh. I believe that a guest had a major accident and they tried to salvage the sheets. I went downstairs and shifts had changed so there was a different lady at the desk. They didn't have any extra pillows and I was given 4 extra cases and flat sheets. So, linen, pillows, and after further inspection and a second trip downstairs, the comforter as well. She brought out a garbage bag to put the linen in. At that point, I no longer wanted anything to do with that bed. I was hoping to be moved without having to ask, but that was not the case. I did request to be moved, and she made that happen without incident. The second room was problem free. It took some time to get moved and set up again, so it was after 1 a.m. by the time I got settled.

First of all, the lady at the front desk has had an attitude for a quite a while now. She was the same lady that worked the front desk back in November. She has yet to smile or greet us to the hotel. She may need to be the housekeeper so she doesn't have to deal with "PAYING" customers. I actually wanted to leave bc she was there, but my husband insisted that we go to our room and just go to bed. We were EXHAUSTED!!! We got to our room, and it just looked unclean. There were about 20 pieces of hair in our shower. The toliet hadn't been cleaned all week from the looks of it. I tried turning on the hot water to wash the hair down and wash my face. Hot Water was NOWHERE to be found until 10 minutes later. The water pressure was Absolutely awful. The wash rags had a couple of red spots on them. I'm very disappointed. The only reason I didn't go ask for a different room is bc I was EXHAUSTED! We just decided not to take a shower and I just squatted to use the bathroom. I'm very VERY disappointed in the Hampton Inn. The room matched the customer service! I will never give them another dime of my hard earned money.

We've stayed here several times and have always had a positive experience. I really appreciate the staff's hard work here.
