I had such an incredible experience checking in at The Kelly Birmingham! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with warmth and professionalism.

Val at the front desk was absolutely amazing—welcoming, friendly, and so helpful in making my check-in smooth and stress-free. Her energy truly set the tone for the rest of my stay.

Terry at the valet desk was just as fantastic. Not only was he prompt and professional, but he also made me feel like a valued guest every time I came or went from the hotel. His positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out.

The hotel itself is stunning and stylish, with an upscale vibe and modern decor that made my stay feel special. From the bold design to the excellent customer service, everything was top-tier.

I’ll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Birmingham. Thank you to the team—especially Val and Terry—for making my stay unforgettable!

The staff is phenomenal but that is the only positive about this $180 a night room. The room was very small, no refrigerator, no microwave, the ice machine was "under reconstruction." At that cost per night, why would you ever NOT have an ice machine? "Under reconstruction" is an excuse, and a brand new machine itself is not that expensive, I know from personal experience working and managing in the restaurant and bar industry myself for years. Parking is very inconvenient at either $50 a day for vallet or about $10 a day to walk a few blocks. Our dear friend that met us there for an event had to request a fridge for his insulin being he is a type 1 diabetic, and due to such a hectic check in service because all of Hiltons servers being down, it wasn't even delivered until the following day after being reminded that he asked for this accommodation, and it looked like someone went to the attic and kicked it all the way down to the 6th floor, where they were staying due to all the dents and dings on the outer shell. We were honestly surprised it worked. The lobby wasn't terrible but the elevator is atrocious and the halls and rooms were disgusting. We could've paid far less money and had a motel "not hotel" with way MORE amenities saving a ridiculous amount of money. I would never recommend this establishment nor will we EVER stay here again. The only thing keeping this hotel opened is the staff, which were absolutely amazing!! You guys make this place but if I were you, I'd be looking for a better company to work for. Thank you for such great hospitality.

The valet staff was the best part of our stay. The room was completely disproportionate. The bedroom area was rather small while the bathroom was large but not well appointed. There was no towel rack near the shower and still only one hook. No toilet paper in the room upon arrival. No luggage rack. Bathroom floor was filthy, in fact, I threw my slippers away instead of packing them to bring home because they were black on the bottom. The shower leaked onto the floor and the outlet came off the wall when I removed the plug for the hairdryer. I gave 2 stars because the valet was great and the bed was somewhat comfortable. I wish I could say more positive things but I simply cannot. This place needs some TLC. We are Hilton Honors and have stayed at many of the other Hilton properties in Birmingham. This was by far the worst.

Boutique hotel, run with the professionalism of being an extension of the Hilton brands. Staff are exceptionally friendly and immediately make you feel like you are one of the family. The real stand out feature is their small, but comfortable restaurant area. I was shocked at how few people that I saw taking advantage of this on-site restaurant. If marketed properly, the quality of their dishes could make this a local attraction, in and of itself.

The hotel is very nice, the staff is very helpful and friendly! The parking is a bit expensive especially when you only stayed for one night! The mattress will need replacing soon very uncomfortable. The cleanliness of the room was good, no issues noted. Visited Birmingham for a concert at BJCC nice walk to the arena took us about 7-10 mins to get there.

The hotel staff was very friendly and warm! Lee was hands down the best Valet I’ve ever had! Rooms were very neat and tidy, and the restaurant was very cozy. The check in was very easy and as was the check out(even though it was hard to part ways) I will definitely visit again, thank you all!

I decided to give The Kelly another visit. Of course everyone from the valet to front desk to the bar are amazing and give great service. I stayed in room 1305. Big spacious room. I checked in and the room was very cool when I walked in. It was so so clean. The bed and bathroom were spotless and sparkling. I slept like a rock. I went to the bar and they have such a great selection of red wines and champagnes. Not your typical hotel bar. Overnight parking is $44 a night | I think that is all over Birmingham just to say. Not just this hotel. I will return.

We had the most amazing stay at The Kelly. The location ,beds, the room were perfect. To top it all off the staff was so so great super sweet kind and helpful. Helped us out with suggestions for dinner. Which was great since we are from out of town. The duck nachos were top tier at East West. We actually were supposed to stay at a different hotel but there was issues there so the Kelly was a quick choice and I'm so glad it was. The bar in the lobby was great and bartender was the best. Everyone in Birmingham that we came across was so kind. Thank you Alabama for a great trip!!!
