Wasn’t treated like Hilton gold member, no decaf coffee, tv went on middle of night and woke us from deep sleep. You need to be over 6 feet to use shampoo and body wash. ||The good, price and pretty clean. Didn’t care about breakfast. I can buy a good breakfast for what I saved. ||But easy fixes to make it nicer hotel

I will start by saying this hotel is franchised and not a corporate hotel. Which means they are private owned and operated. The customer service of the staff is horrible. No one speaks. They all starred versus greeting you with a hello or good morning. Very uncommon and rude behavior. This hotel is currently being renovated and transitioned from Choice hotels to Sparks by Hilton. Either way, rude is rude. During my stay, I experienced loud noises on the first floor. Their house keepers refused to move used laundry and trash from outside of my room. I asked if I could be moved to a different room because of the noise and being placed right in front of the laundry room. Of course the request was denied and I was verbally attacked by one of the hotel owners/ managers. He became very aggressive with me and tried to take my room key. At this point, the manager stated my name wasn’t on the reservation and GET OUT!!!! The other staff was BLOWN away by his behavior and asked him to leave multiple times. I immediately called 911 because I am traveling alone and didn’t want to be threatened or hurt by this employee. The police officer spoke to the other staff members and ensured me this employee was gone and should not return. Trust me if my company didn’t pay for two nights through a third party. (Prepaid in full) I would have left at that very moment. All I got was an apology for the noise and disrespect. Totally distasteful and unprofessional. I am leaving this review therefore people are aware of the level of disrespect that the management/ owners have at this hotel.

First time at a Spark hotel, definitely going to be the last. No digital key available with the front desk stating they “don’t participate in that” and no digital checkout available. This led to unnecessary prolonged wait times. The hotel completely ignores the chat feature in the app so if you need anything it’s like pulling teeth. Then, I see the hotel charged my card $100 for the incidental hold, rather than holding the funds (it showed as a charge on my work credit card portal, I do NOT see holds- only charges) and the hotel refused to produce a receipt. The man working the desk in the morning is condescending and seems to still think this hotel can operate as the Choice hotel it rebranded from.

I gave this hotel 3 tries to give me a CLEAN room. The first room had a deodorizing machine in it to get rid of the pungent POT smell. The 2nd room we went up to, the door was wide open, and lights in the bathroom were on. We walked in and there was toothpaste on the counter, along with hair, and a dirty shower. The room was not even fully furnished. 3rd room was 77 degrees and the bathroom was dirty. They are renovating, and the staff assured me these were new rooms. I'll let you be the judge! The Hilton Garden got our business and we were so thankful for a clean room and friendly staff.

It was suppose to be a Hilton property. So, gives an expectation of high class. Not this one. Granted it was clean and we only stopped over night to sleep. So, it served it purpose. I would stay at one again. But this time I know what to expect.

I’ll never stay at another Spark, ever! I’ve been a Hilton Diamond Member for many years. They have the digital key feature turned off so you must stop by front desk…. and wait…. And wait some more. The main reason I’m a Hilton guy is because the digital key allows me to go straight to my room. But at a Spark location, you have show a Drivers License. Then, you have to pay $100 deposit on a $100 room. Then, after my office pays with a corporate card, they charge my personal card for all charges because it’s on my profile. The cherry on top was no coffee in the rooms. Spark does not meet the standards of the other Hilton properties. I’m considering building up my Marriott Bonvoy status after this stay. Pathetic.

Positive: Location Negative: The hotel in general. Undergoing renovations, was not disclosed until check in. Chair was dingy, tub was dingy, pillows were flat. No breakfast offered, even though it was advertised.

Price was good, rooms were descent. Front desk was not very organized or professional; breakfast was low quality and there was only decaf coffee. I seldom write reviews. Didn't like the $50 charge for "incidentals." I made them check my room and give me a receipt saying I was not charged anything. Felt pretty sketch at the front desk. I was surprised at low quality for a country inn and suites.
