I just had my third (or fourth?) visit at the Birmingham Tree House, and I can honestly say it gets better every time! The property is gorgeous - all lovely hardwood and bay windows and expansive porches - all the charm of a Victorian home without any Victorian stuffiness. The rooms are all super clean and comfortable, with fluffy pillows and comfortable beds. There are lovely touches everywhere. There are several amazing spaces to just relax outside the spacious rooms - the beautiful wrap-around verandah, balconies, a reading / breakfast / game room upstairs, and a comfy front parlor. Not to mention the enormous double parlor that is used for yoga, but also a great place for curling up on the window seat with a good book!

I can't recommend the Birmingham Tree House strongly enough. Do yourself a favor and book today!

This is my third (or fourth?) time at the Birmingham Tree House, and each time I love it more. First of all, it's gorgeous - incredible Victorian charm - without any Victorian stuffiness. I feel right at home each time I arrive.||The rooms are clean and airy, each with unique whimsical charm. The beds and pillows are so comfy, and there are considerate touches throughout - coffee and tea whenever, little things like tape and other necessities you didn't know you needed in your room. ||There are several lovely relaxing common areas - a bright and comfortable parlor, a library / game room / breakfast area upstairs. There are also two huge, wood-paneled rooms dedicated to yoga, but if you're not a yogi you can just curl up on the cushions on a window seat and while away an hour or two with a good book (and of course, they have many there for you to borrow). And the porches! There are rockers, hammocks, tables, and it goes on and on, wrapping around the front of the building. ||I can't recommend the Birmingham Tree House enough. Book now, you will not be disappointed!!

This was the most unique stay ever. No detail was left unattended. Comfy bed, vintage decor, plenty of private as well as communal lounging spaces. I even took a nap on the cushioned chaise on the front porch with nature’s soundtrack of birds chirping and church bells ringing in the background. Vibrant colors, spacious…and they even had crushed ice in the fridge!

Birmingham Tree House is a true gem. The area is pretty, quiet, walkable and safe, but near to some great restaurants. The room decor and shared spaces are charming and delightful, and we loved the many thoughtful touches including coffee, bagels and fruit for guests and share frig space in the main floor kitchen. Off-street parking was a plus as well.

Our group had a fantastic experience at the Tree House! We rented the whole house and it was perfect for our needs. The rooms are fun and comfortable. We loved the location, easily walkable to restaurants and more. Renny communicated quickly and was responsive to any needs or requests we had. We appreciated her flexibility when snow required us to adjust our plans. Highly recommend!

This was the perfect place to celebrate turning 30 with my closest friends! The tree house girls were so accommodating from booking through checkout. We had the best time. It was great having to space to eat and spend all night together. I would recommend this place to anyone with large parties or small! I hope to be back again!

A beautiful and heart centered space. Felt like a home. If you're looking for the sterile rooms with machine-straight lines offered by most modern hotels then I suggest you move on. If your preference is for the imperfection of a human touch, this is the place for you. The care takers are rooting for you, dear human, to live your best life, and to experience joy in the process. Our room reminded us that we are loved.

This place is a delightful gem of an alternative to your run of the mill hotel. The house is lovely and the rooms felt like home. The bed was extremely comfortable and we enjoyed our coffee in the sunroom. It’s walking distance to local restaurants and shops. Will definitely stay here again.
