⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️|I had such an incredible experience checking in at The Kelly Birmingham! From the moment I walked through the doors, I was met with warmth and professionalism.||Val at the front desk was absolutely amazing—welcoming, friendly, and so helpful in making my check-in smooth and stress-free. Her energy truly set the tone for the rest of my stay.||Terry at the valet desk was just as fantastic. Not only was he prompt and professional, but he also made me feel like a valued guest every time I came or went from the hotel. His positive attitude and attention to detail really stood out.||The hotel itself is stunning and stylish, with an upscale vibe and modern decor that made my stay feel special. From the bold design to the excellent customer service, everything was top-tier.||I’ll absolutely be staying here again on my next trip to Birmingham. Thank you to the team—especially Val and Terry—for making my stay unforgettable!

This is a historic hotel with all the charm you can imagine! Great location with easy access to bars and restaurants. You can get an uber within minutes if you need to. Close to the airport too!

Service was great in the restaurant and bar. Baron is so knowledgable and makes a great espresso martini. Our waiter was also very knowledgeable about the menu and the surrounding area. Try the glazed brussel sprouts, you will not be disappointed!

They have their own coffee shop which serves coffee from a company called Rooted Grounds, which is a craft company. Try the Highlander Grogg!!

All in all my two night stay was quiet and peacefull, filled with good food and drink. Tonya and Hassaan (the assistant general manager and the manager of the hotel) were so kind and warm and inviting. I will definitely be back!

I had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel, and a big part of that was thanks to the amazing manager, Tonya Williams. From the moment I checked in, Tonya made me feel genuinely welcome—she remembered my name, took the time to ask how my day was going, and even helped me sort out a last-minute change to my reservation with patience and kindness. The room was clean and comfortable, but it was Tonya’s personal touch that really made the difference. It’s rare to come across someone who truly cares about the guest experience, and I left feeling like I’d been staying with friends rather than just at a hotel.

Stayed here for 1 night en route to Atlanta. Valet parking was very good and both valets were great. It’s a bit pricey for the area and you can park in the public car park opposite for less than $9 but only for a max 12 hours. Unless you fancy moving your car at 03:00 choose the valet parking. Room was tidy, bed comfy and it was generally quiet. However the bedding hadn’t been pressed let alone tucked in and the top sheet was a cheap nylon or similar material. The tv remote didn’t work but as it was late I didn’t complain. Next morning had a shower. Shower pressure was very good but as a blonde I was concerned to see a black hair on the tiles. All in all, could do better

Management was difficult to talk to and seemed unprofessional throughout our stay. We had went into the cafe earlier into the morning and were disappointed to see how limited of a menu there was. We understand that Starbucks isn’t associated with the company but the cafe and my sister’s iced latte was disappointing to say the least. When we asked about it we were shrugged off and told that’s how it’s made. The food was made pretty well alternatively and got to enjoy a nice meal in the dining area however when coming back up to our room, we found a dead cockroach in the shower. The room was nice for the most part other than that and it seemed well maintained. I don’t believe we will be coming back however.

5 stars for Sam -The most memorable person was Sam! Sam is on the valet/bellhop team & he is awesome!! So nice, he went over and above to help us with transferring from wheelchair to car & vice versa, delivered our bags promptly and showed so much joy when helping us. Be sure you meet Sam while you are there.||The hotel is historic, aka old. Make sure you are prepared for that. Since it's marked as one of the Curio Collection for Hilton I expected more. The rooms are old & dingy, I expected more upscale and plush, they did not even have plush linens that most of the rooms have. The room was clean, very small, almost too small for the wheelchair.||Breakfast was very good & LaToya was great!||Front desk staff was nice and friendly except for one gal who was extremely rude to us when we called the front desk late one night.||We spoke w/two on the Management team (front desk & food) they were great to work with, accommodating and very nice.||Unfortunately the rooftop bar we heard great things about was closed but the lobby bar tender was really good.

I recently stayed at the Redmont Hotel in Birmingham, AL, and unfortunately, it was the worst Hilton experience I’ve ever had. Upon arrival, I pulled back the flat sheet on the bed and found hair all over the fitted sheet, which clearly hadn’t been cleaned. I immediately requested a room change, and while waiting, I discovered a dead roach in the corner of the room—definitely not the welcome I was hoping for.

I was moved to a second room, which at least had clean sheets, but I was disappointed to find another dead roach in the room. The rooms are small, and basic amenities were lacking—there was no refrigerator, and there was no option to stream Netflix on the TV, which is pretty standard at most hotels these days. To make matters worse, I could hear the elevator going up and down all night, which made it hard to get any sleep.

On top of all that, on the last morning, there was no hot water, so I had to take a cold shower. It was an unpleasant way to end my stay. While the hotel has a historic vibe, it really needs some serious upgrades to meet modern expectations.

The best part of my stay was the friendly and accommodating staff, but that wasn’t enough to make up for the numerous issues I encountered. Given the problems with cleanliness, amenities, noise, and lack of hot water, I wouldn't recommend this hotel. It was by far my worst Hilton experience.

Location is great for Birmingham Stallions game.
We were upgraded to Presidential Suite because of my husband's membership status and I wouldn't call it Presidential Suite. It pretty much sucked. Not two rooms...the other TV was in a hallway with nothing to sit on. Bathroom was no bigger than our usual room. I would never pay extra for this as a Presidential Suite.
