Stayed here for the weekend while in town seeing a musical. The property is beautiful with fresh flowers and a lot of artwork in the hotel. The pool has an adults-only section, which was nice to be able to avoid screaming children. The beds in the room were so comfortable. The towels at the hotel are small and scratchy - definitely do not match the price point of a room that’s $300 / night. The grout in the shower was disgustingly and needs to be power washed. On-site dining options were limited and The Clubhouse was awful. Overall a great stay though.

What an incredible find! This resort has a little bit of something for everyone. We discovered it as we were taking our son to his college visit at the University of Alabama and we have now found a definite landing spot for the next 4 years of visits to the college. It's about a 45-minute drive to the University and about 20 minutes to the Birmingham airport.
The views are stunning and even if you get the front of the building, your balcony still has a spacious area to sit and relax and even enjoy a glass of wine or a cup of coffee together with someone special. We did. If you're lucky enough to get a view of the pool, then you are really in for a treat. As you can see from the pictures that view is incredible, but it's even better when you're down in that area. There are two pools. The pool on the lower level is for tons of family fun and the serenity pool on the top is for adults only and is filled with that serenity that you're looking for. Although a few little kids did come up with their parents and use the hot tub as a splash pole, which would probably be annoying if it was a little more crowded, but we were relaxing on the chairs enjoying the beautiful warm spring day. Okay, so we didn't care much.

I didn't get a chance to golf but I will be bringing my father down on future visits and taking advantage of this impeccable championship course. From what I can see, it is a stunner.

The restaurants are wonderful. The clubhouse offers an amazing value for incredible dishes and a wonderful variety. The wine list is okay but that's because they save most of the good stuff for downstairs at Brock's.

Brox is a little overpriced for what you are getting in this atmosphere, but I'm sure they had to cause some kind of separation between the two establishments at a price point. The wine selection here is incredible and much better, and some of the food options could be paired with appropriate side dishes rather than all a la carte. However, we will definitely be back. We also highly recommend getting the breakfast package as part of your stay because the morning breakfast with that included in your room is an absolute value.
The area of Ross bridge is beautiful and very close to Hoover and South Birmingham. So you are only a quick drive away from many of the other amenities you may need during your stay. We will definitely return.

My clients had a wedding here recently and they were amazing. They paid attention to details and went well above to be sure that clients were happy. Alex was our coordinator and she was very friendly and welcoming. She reached out many times amongst the way to be sure we were both on one accord.

Clients wedding was absolutely spectacular and please ask for Alex when working with one of the ladies. She is always on target

My stay at Ross Bridge with my niece and toddler grand niece was flawless. From the valet to Mr. Curtis, housekeeping, amazing bar staff and breakfast staff we were treated with utmost hospitality. Carlos provided so much more than professionalism expected at a five star – extra efforts in a sold out situation, kindness, and attention to every detail to ensure we enjoyed our time together as a family. He knew it was important to me to enjoy the indoor pool, especially with my little niece, and followed up after the first evening to make sure we had enjoyed it – which we did, very much. The breakfast buffet and made to order pancakes and waffles were absolutely delicious and the staff delightful. I enjoyed relaxing in the bar with delicious cocktails and on one afternoon we ordered some simple but very tasty small plates. The bartenders were top shelf, along with their service. Our sincere thanks to Carlos and everyone for a special family time to remember. I'll be back in a couple of months.

5 Stars is not enough!! I have stayed in some very nice places over the years but the service there is 5 Stars!!! I don't know who their management team is but they should teach classes in hotel staff engagement. EVERY single individual we encountered from the bell hop to the bar was so friendly and helpful. There are not words to express how impressed I was with our stay. We topped it off with massages at the spa this morning and their equipment is top notch. The beds were next level and all three of us had an incredible experience.

Arrived Friday afternoon, the tv screen notified me that there was a cocktail reception that evening from 6-7. Went to the reception found a reception, I was rudely escorted out by a man named Lucus said he was operation mgr.

This not the type of service I was expecting from this hotel at this price point. He escorted me to a set of stairs and said the restaurant was up there pointing. No concern for me, solving my issue, not providing any help or possible solutions and support. If that is the level of service provided by management it’s pathetic and totally unacceptable.

I called the front desk the young man was clueless. Explained to him what was o the tv. Hello Carter party etc. Then there was a schedule for Friday evening including a cocktail reception. No clue, no help, he said it must have been a mistake.

The hot water was turned off Monday morning without notice.
Went to take a shower with cold water before a meeting, while not pleasant, I was totally awake. When I called the front desk the informed me that the boiler was being worked on. A little note would have been nice but it didn’t happen. I expected more from the property.

Went to the fine dining restaurant. Total disrespect and disaster. The waitress passed our table multiple times, greeted the couple seated just before us. She never acknowledged that we had been sat or greeted us. She then proceeded to take a drink order from them, once again never looking at us and rushed off. We sat there another few minutes and then left. Horrible customer service, never greeted, acknowledged or anything professional. We ordered delivery Sharma to the room. We never visited another restaurant on property, choosing the instead to eat in the village or drive to a restaurant, augmented with uber-eats.

The maids were all wonderfully pleasant and friendly.

Ron Wood the bellman was superb. He was super nice and helpful helping pack the vehicle upon checking out. Kudos!!

He end pleasantly what had been unnecessarily challenging stay.

Both valet and free parking in front of the hotel.

Hotel management recently responded to this review. The response was wholly unsatisfactory, full of excuses and empty rhetoric. Marvin Hill who is Director of Rooms
Renaissance Ross Bridge Golf and Spa wrote some crap about “I sincerely apologize for failing to meet your expectations. I have shared your feedback with the leadership team to ensure the necessary guidelines are in place and reviewed to prevent incorrect guest information from occurring in the future.”

Could an answer been more lackluster and corporate. No clue how to address these serious issues and concerns.

No offer to refund a night or two, no offer for points, nothing.
This is pathetic and helps inform the negative experiences during the 4 days in the hotel.

Food was excellent. Service was exceptional. Truly a hand picked staff with care and attention to detail coming from the leaders down to the staff. Truly an amazing venue.

Recently, I returned to Ross Bridge and had the pleasure of experiencing their exceptional service firsthand. While a snowstorm unexpectedly confined us to the property, the hotel staff went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and well-being.

The rooms are truly stunning, and I highly recommend the Wellness Suite. The extra amenities, including the luxurious Bryte bed, elevate the experience to a new level of comfort and relaxation.

Carlos at the front desk was incredibly efficient and accommodating, promptly addressing all of our requests. During each trip to Ross Bridge, Carlos has gone above and beyond to make each stay perfect!

From the moment we arrived to the moment we departed, every aspect of our stay was flawless. I cannot recommend Ross Bridge highly enough.
