If you're looking for family fun with your kids and dogs, this is NOT the place. They are poorly managed and seem to cater to the senior community. No rules were given/posted, etc. People drive through at high speeds and when we made the camp host aware, she was very rude and unprofessional. She, herself, drives way to fast through the campgrounds. They complained about our kids playing at the park. After extending our stay, we were informed we needed to leave. Fortunately, the American Eagle RV Park (right across the street) was very professional and accommodating.

The camping host and other camping families were terrific, there were good hook ups and a nice grassy area for the littles to play. The spaces are not too crowded and their wifi and satellite reception is superb.

There is not much here otherwise. The lake is no longer close by or even near the beach. There are no local conveniences but there are trails to walk and plenty of dirt for your dogs to play. Beware of the burrs...

We stayed in a site with a lake view in the distance and it has been safe and quiet. A brand new bathroom was recently installed which is spotless but a heads up there is just one toilet and shower (so far). It looks like improvements are going on throughout the park so that may change shortly.

Even with the low water levels, we came away wondering why this park didn’t have more of the advertised amenities. Literally, decent fishing was 21 miles away.

The place seemed like a good place to spend the weekend, after all the reviews I read. The camp ground must be under new management. The camp host meet us at camp right when we showed up and not in a good way. Very pushy and told us she just wanted to get the paperwork done. Not a warm greeting at all. We never received a copy of camp information like most places give you. The next morning the kids went to the play area. We were approached by the host again tell us the kids were too loud. We told the kids to quit down respectful. We had another visit from the host blaming out kids for dislodging a log from the horseshoe pit. We went over and assessed the damage and noticed it wasn't even attached with screws or anything. So we fixed it and that's was the end of that.well not quite.. again was told there was some dirt or sand on the slide that the kids out there and she made several rude comments to us and our children. Later that night we were having marshmallow around the fire and talking amongst us. And Gary the manager came to our site and was told there was a noise complaint . He said himself he didn't see a problem and left. We were asked to leave the next day. We left and went to the camp ground across the street called American Eagle Rv Park. This place was great Chuck greeted us and gave a copy of the rules and told us all about the park. It has full bathrooms, laundromat, kids rec center, full hook ups. And the spots were clean and shaded. Don't waist your time with Eagle Lake Resort the best place to camp is literally across the street. Happy Campers!

Extremely disappointed! Because of a land dispute which blocks off the best part of the park, the entrance to the rv park is by a service road that is dirt and gravel. There are no amenities such as showers, wifi, cable, LP filling, or firewood. The manager tries to run the campground from his house 30 miles away. The camp host was sticking her head in the window of my truck while I was in the process of backing my camper into a spot. Like she couldn't wait until I stopped. Though it is not the fault of the park owner/manager, Eagle Lake is dry. Nothing to look at and no water activities. In other words, don't waste your time stopping here.

Great lil RV Resort. Very quiet, No camp sites on top of each other, Great lil Grass Park for the Kids, Dogs and Picnicking. Rules are in place, but things are very casual and easy going, with great Owners and Management to "normally" greet and welcome you. We felt very much at home here and would recommend this park/resort for all. Our 3 nights here allowed us to regroup from our travels and refuel our bodies for the next phase of driving and visiting. THE WIENER DOG RACE WAS A GREAT DAY AND FOR A GREAT CAUSE. (LOCAL POLICE K9 TEAM FUNDRAISER FOR THIS YEAR) Very strong community support by these owners, staff and community itself!!!!

Extremely disappointed! I wish at time of booking I was told that the water was so low, we had planned for a large group to drive up for the day to jet ski, 3 days before our arrival I was told that the water was very low due to drought, so we decided to still go but not bring the jet skis just bring our UTV. We arrived at the house to find one bunk unable to be used, so we called our Son to let him know that there was not enough sleeping space for he and a friend. We were not told of this. Not that this was the Parks fault, but the wind was horrible, it took our EZ up and broke it so we were unable to sit outside, we never took the UTV out of the trailer due to the winds making it so miserable, but good thing I had brought DVD’s we thought let’s just sit inside and watch a movie, well, the TV had very low sound that we could not hear them speaking and it was set at 100! The worst part is we could not use the BBQ, it would not stay lit, so it was impossible to use, we had at least brought our griddle, but my husband did not want to use it for our tri-tips, they knew of this issue but just told us to use our griddle. We feel they should have provided another BBQ. We ended up checking out an entire day early, we will not go back.

Clean, quiet, mountain camping, nestled among large juniper trees with views of beautiful Eagle Lake. There is a perfect grassy park with playground equipment, horseshoe pits and plenty of space for volleyball or other games. Love the warm days for hiking trails, boating, wildlife and fishing. Enjoy the campfire on the cool nights.

We want to express our gratitude to you Andrea and Thomas for extending welcome to those of us who were evacuated due to the Sheep Fire. Your policy of not charging evacuees was quite generous and went a long way to help ease nerves during a very stressful time. It's heartening to know that caring for one's community is still a thing!
The park was in great shape and Gary was his usual helpful, effervescent self. Thank You.
Sincerely
Ron & Mary Frederickson
