Yes, the room may be small, but you won’t find anything like that close to Sacramento serenity comfort perfect management come on hands-down folks you’ll want to stay two nights. It’s so peaceful.

This complex was likely built soon after WWII as America hit the road. Converting it to a tasteful and more contemporary place today had to be a challenge and some compromises were necessary because of small rooms and dated electrical locations, but it was well done. Interior is pleasantly decorated. Parking is at the units. Ours also had a covered patio area (ex car port) that was nice in the evening.
On the other hand, be aware there are zero USB outlets and few 110v outlets (none really convenient), no tissues, and our coffee pot had to be moved to the floor to reach an outlet. Simple things, all workable if you bring some cords for all our modern accessories, and all could be easily fixed. Perhaps they will be in the future. Enjoy!

This is completely renovated, super cute. Clean and I love the Queen size black iron bed with the most beautiful sherpa in a Black & White Buffalo check, fantastic modern refrigerator and a fireplace. What a great find! Great place for a romantic weekend & they have bigger rooms for families. Everything was perfect and we will definitely return.

We love the location, the ease of check-in and getting access to the room, even though it was already quite late and last minute booking. Also interacting with a very friendly staff next morning was great too, as he gave us good advise on local sights to see like Fowler Falls etc. Thanks again!! The bed was comfy and the shower hot!

Clean quiet hotel. Parking for trucks or longer vehicles can be a challenge. The rooms are clean, the bed was comfortable. The room was a little small but that would be expected for the price. Checking in and out was easy and no contact. Room access is great with just code texted to your phone. Would stay again.

Great motel on the way to Lassen. This motel was very clean which is my most important factor when choosing a hotel. Had lovely decor and cute fireplace in the room. There was a fridge. There is no microwave but didn’t need one on my short stay. Had a nice patio to sit on outside the room. Lovely view of a field out the window. Surrounding area was quiet. Would definitely stay again if traveling through.

I was stunned coming to little Flat Falls Millz, finding this gem of a motel! Happy to find a reasonable priced motel while booking, seeing this for real is something else. What a generously accommodating place, cozy, calm, neat and clean biiig rooms! A home away from home.

We will never make a reservation to stay at this hotel again. My wife and I were planning on stopping at Lassen Volcanic National Park on a road trip. We checked for local fires the night before and all seemed to be ok. The next morning when we were headed there we found out that someone had started the Park Fire and the highway into Lassen Volcanic NP was closed entirely. We no longer had a feasible route to get to this location. We tried to cancel our reservation here and they said they couldn't do anything since we had made a reservation with a 3rd party (booking). So we contacted booking, they issued a cancelation to Millz on our behalf. Millz declined the cancelation. When asked why they had no response. We called booking again and even the rep said to dispute the charge on our credit card with Millz since they were being unreasonable. It was a really unfortunate few hours on our road trip and we had to make day of alternate plans since the highway was closed. I would give this review 0 stars if possible and would not recommend making a reservation here as there are frequent forest fires in the area and even if you watch them plans can go to moot overnight.
