Have never felt the need to leave a bad review of an RV park before this place. Unfriendly office staff on the phone, in-person, and via email. Extra bullsh*t charges for stuff. Lots of highway noise and a strong foul smell from all the garlic farms. There’s better places not far away. Keep looking and avoid this one.

This RV park is in a secluded beautiful setting with local wildlife and large birds (owls, hawks, vultures) to watch. The temperature is 10 degrees cooler there than in San Jose and neighboring cities because of the little valley it sets in , trapping the cooler ocean breeze.
Quiet. Well managed facility, with laundromat, pool, rec room, full RV hook ups and they even has a convenience store. You will enjoy your stay .

We book last minute with help from Pam. The RV Park was clean and beautiful! Everyone was friendly and kind. We had plenty of room for our Golden Retriever to do her zoomies on the open grass area!

However the route to dog run was very dark at night. Maybe install some additional sensor lighting at night?

This is THE BEST RV park in our last two years RV trips. It is very well maintained and has very clean & spacious shower rooms, paced parking pads, and dog park. We love it

Very well-kept RV park with friendly staff and a security gate. Spaces are fairly level and lots of amenities (small pool, dog area, laundry, small market). No restaurants in the immediate area. Monterey, Carmel, Castroville and Gilroy all within 40 minutes or less which we appreciated and rates were half what they quoted us in Monterey.

What A great place to stay. I am so sorry that we only got to stay 1 night. The rv spots are very spacious and clean. The bathroom, laundry and grounds were kept immaculate. The lady at the front desk that checked us in was so sweet and kind to us. I would highly recommend this place and we will definitely be back.

We have stayed at Betabel multiple times over the past two years. It’s a nice park, well-maintained, and friendly staff. When we checked in a few weeks ago, they still had all our information, including our Good Sam discount, on file, and we confirmed it on the telephone during the reservation. We checked in this past week, after making the same reservation procedure, but later noticed the bill did not include the Good Sam discount.

Their only response was, “Sorry, you’re responsible to notify us at the time of “check-in” that you have any discounts. It is posted several places.”

I could see if we discovered it after we had checked out and closed out the account. However, we’re mid-stay this week, and brought it to their attention. Despite that, Pam declined to honor the discount, even though we discussed it on the phone during the reservation process.

FYI to Travelers, make sure you present your Good Sam credentials every time when checking in. We did not “present” our discount on the prior occasions, but beware.

We stopped at this location in order to visit family members who lived both north and south of this location - it worked for us. We had sen it traveling before and thought it to be convenient for us. First impression was that it was neat, clean and well manicured. The check-in store was stocked with necessities and snacks. Staff was very pleasant and provided an after hours number for emergencies. The Park is gate protected after hours with a code for late entry. Our spot was a pull-thru on a concrete pad that took minimal leveling. Plenty of room for slide outs and hookups were convenient and discreetly enclosed for esthetics. Half the park seems to be for semi-permanent residents, which increases the pressure to keep it looking nice. Restrooms and showers were neat and clean - cleaned twice a day. An inviting pool is behind the office and again requires a passcode for entry. A very large pet walk area -- please pick up after your pet. We enjoyed this location and very well will return when taking our RV to visit relatives.
