The sites are very tight but once you get in the foliage was pretty. The staff were nice and helpful. There were a million loud unsupervised kids, one 6 year old who kept riding a gas powered mini bike at top speed for hours. The racket from dogs was 24/7. There is nothing nearby, not even a gas station. The men's room smelled so bad I almost gagged. All for nearly $100 a night. Never again.

Amazing campground for families! We stayed in RV spot 176 and it backed to the playground. It was a quick walk to the bathrooms and the jumping area. I loved that I could sit next to the fire in the evening and watch the kids play from our camp site. The kids made a few new friends and the amenities they offer are outstanding! Wish we stayed longer! The only negative was that there were puddles of water in the showers.

Love this Santa Cruz KOA location and ALL the staff is wonderful. I'm a manager at a luxury hotel in Monterey Bay and I enjoyed the great service at check-in and everywhere. Whenever I ran into any KOA staff, I was greeted with a smile + hello! That's super important. I also wanted to say that I also really appreciated getting a pre-arrival call letting me know that my glamping unit was ready early! (my special request) Thank you! The property is beautiful, the jacuzzi is huge, pool is really nice, and the fellow campers staying there are really good people. Really great programs almost every weekend so see the calendar. It's a happy place for kids and adults! Robert

Terrible attitude toward guests!
They record conversations and mock people over their walkie-talkies. Exactly the kind of people you don’t want around—especially on vacation.

We parked on a gravel spot for a few minutes while the kids were shopping in their overpriced store. In no time, three staff members came at us like a legal team, demanding we leave immediately. The spot wasn’t blocking anyone, but they didn’t care.
They acted like saints, saying they don’t charge for rule violations—how generous…

What a miserable place. Far from the beach, far from anything fun

This was the most well-maintained establishment I've ever stayed in, with unbeatable views and amenities!! The cabin far surpassed our expectations, with every need anticipated. The kitchen and linens were fully-stocked with basics, and the TV was the latest technology (Fire TV stick) that my kids navigated it immediately.
The hillside view couldn't be beat, and the shade and patio were perfect.

We love this place! It's our 2nd time here and with older kids. All the other families are super friendly and inclusive. It's close enough to Santa Cruz or Monterey for a day trip. The grounds are clean, spacious, and easy to access. The Produce Market in Moss Landing on hwy 1 is a must stop!

Staff really made this place a true 5 Star experience. Accomodations are great and better than most other KOA's we have been to. They take the security of our family very seriously with wristbands and constant patrol.
Would 100% come back next time we are in the area.

The owner tried to threaten us and was very hostile. Him and his crew admitted to being “sons of anarchy” type bullies. I don’t appreciate or support that. Our camping neighbors were more polite than he was. He should be ashamed being so rude and admitting to bullying tactics. Definitely try to go somewhere else not worth the over $100 we paid for.
