Love the Wyoming High Country Lodge! We had stopped in once for during a day trip and decided to book a weekend. The owners are wonderful and very hospitable! The meals are delicious, trust me you will not go hungry! We stayed in the Creek Side cabin with 4 adults and one kiddo, it was very cozy and everything we needed for the two night stay.

Oh my gosh, this place was AMAZING. We had the best time! The lodge is so cozy and rustic, and the winter scenery is absolutely stunning. But honestly, what made it so special was how incredible the hosts were—they made us feel completely at home from the second we got there.

They took care of everything. We had three delicious meals a day (and didn’t have to cook or clean a thing—literal heaven), and they were so sweet with the kids, making sure they were happy and taken care of. And the snowmobiling? Insanely fun. Flying through the mountains with all that fresh snow was unreal.

If you ever need a getaway that’s equal parts adventure and relaxation, this is it. It was the the perfect way to unplug a bit! Already dreaming about going back! We will see you guys next time!

A great getaway! The staff was so friendly and the included breakfast and dinner was very good. They made us sandwiches for our hiking trip. We enjoyed watching all the moose that hung out in front of the lodge most of the day. Our cabin was so clean and comfortable. Each night after dinner there was a nice fire to sit around in front of the lodge.

We stayed in the Elk cabin which was cutely decorated with a comfortable bed, nice bathroom, and even a mini frig. We loved watching the moose from our deck! Our delicious meals were served just a few steps away in the main lodge. I have special dietary needs which the chef graciously accommodated for every meal which was fantastic. (It’s hard to eat away from home with special dietary needs!) We appreciated the pack out lunch which we took on our daily hikes. We’d highly recommend this place.

Excellent and welcoming place and people. Food was wonderful, with all three meals prepared in house (sandwiches for lunch). They had alternate options for our little guy if needed. Room was spacious and comfortable. We stayed in main lodge and had a king bed which faced the front of the lodge. We were greeted to a family of moose everyday. Very beautiful hiking nearby. Was a reprieve from the 100 degree temps at lower elevations. Definitely will visit again.

The Wyoming High Country Lodge has been our choice of lodges for our Bass Pro Shops/Cabela's CLUB Signature Event with Tracker Offroad for our Offroad Experience in the Bighorn mountains since 2021. The new owners are absolutely amazing to work with and are so extremely kind, thoughtful, and helpful. They went out of their way to assist us when units were broken down or had flat tires to help us get them back to the lodge when they certainly didn't have to. The lodge renovations are wonderful and the food from the couple in the kitchen is absolutely fantastic. For hosting our group of 23 people, they did an amazing all around job and I would recommed them to anyone looking to stay or explore the Bighorn Mountains.

Wyoming High Country Lodge surpassed all expectations and helped our group create a vacation of a lifetime. From the moment we pulled up we were greeted with kindness and a feeling of family. We saw so much wildlife and ate some of the best home cooked meals! Every morning they had breakfast and coffee hot and fresh. They packed us sack lunches to take out on the trails for full days of trail riding. We came back “home” to homemade dinner every evening. The food was outstanding, but the hospitality was unmatched.
I’m in awe of the beauty we saw in the Bighorn Mountains from wildflowers to wildlife and so thankful we chose Wyoming High Country Lodge as our base camp.

What a wonderful place. The new owners and family are doing a great job. We stayed in Elk cabin which is right next to the lodge. All the staff were super friendly and knowledgeable. We rented SXS's on site. Lots of wildlife sightings. The wonderful woman in the kitchen always had a gluten free option for my wife which was so awesome. I highly recommend coming here.
