First time, and it WON'T be the last! This hidden gem is ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!! The food was so good, the flavor was awesome. I will say I was really disappointed that they have no Prime Rib (all I wanted), but apparently everyone in Chino Valley did as well, so a bit of advice order in advance, I'm told. We got our food back quickly, and every item was amazing.

We did a 3 meat platter to sample a little of everything. We chose Brisket, Ribs, and pulled pork. For our sides, we got french fries and Mac & Cheese. We also got an up in smoke burger AMAZING! Can't wait try the Prime Rib.

Price point was very reasonable, kid friendly, clean dining area, fountain drink options and their house bbq sauce ? super yummy!!

Best BBQ in the Yavapai County Region. Their slow smoked brisket is mouth watering, frys golden and give that soft and crunchy everyone loves in a French fry. Don't forget to ask for their Chipotle ranch and sample their in-house created sauces! This place is amazing and the staff go the distance! Thank you Up in Smoke!

Meat was well cooked and nice and tender. BBQ sauce was awful and tasted like it came off the grocery store shelf (Baby Ray's). I didn't care for the corn bread but my Mrs liked it. Potato salad was bland if not plentiful. Cole slaw need a bit more vinegar and the price point wayyy over the top. all and all I give it a 2/5 stars.

I just picked up a bit of meat by the pound here. My mouth watered all the way home! Then I ate some. I was shocked at how delicious it was. I've had BBQ at all the places in Prescott and I hated them all.
But the food here at Up In Smoke was unbelievably good! The brisket, pulled pork, and tritip was fantastic. It was cooked perfectly and so juicy and tasty. The brisket cuts with a fork (if you even want to bother with one.) LOL I don't eat BBQ sauce so I can't say either way on that. But it smelled good. I also thought the price was fair.
And to top it off the staff was so friendly and polite. Rare now-a-days.
Highly recommended. I'd eat here again any day!

First time here. We live closer to Prescott so usually eat there. My wife is vegetarian so I rarely get BBQ. Today we had a dental appt. in Chino so I decided to try Up in Smoke. I ordered the 1/2 rack of ribs - (6) ribs and the potatoes salad to go.
The ribs were tasty and tender. Potatoe salad also good. The only complaint I had was the portion and pricing. My wife recently spent 10-weeks in a rehab facility close to Colts BBQ.
I ate their baby back ribs twice weekly. Their ribs had more meat on them. The flavor was about the same as U in S. The price was a little less at $16.50 but, there was enough leftover for another meal. Their sweet beans are killer. Their potatoes salad and cole slaw is terrible. Soooo, if in Chino, it's Up in Smoke. If Prescott, try Colts.

Mom and Pop BBQ joint, amazing brisket, Charro beans and Jalapeño coleslaw. Best BBQ i’ve had in the Prescott Chino Valley area. Price is very reasonable with a discount for cash! Also had live music on the Friday I was there.

The Brisket was excellent, flavorful and tender. My husband had the bbq chicken breast, was delicious also. We oth had the Mac and cheese for our side, very good. Will deffintly stop again if in the area.
