The service is good and food is okay. The battered cod sandwich portion is small. The shrimp and lobster quesadilla is tasty and has enough shrimp but one lump or strip of lobster. The French fries are crispy and delicious and the badass burger was really nice and big and seemed it was freshly cooked, not frozen.
It’s a clean place, and great to go if you’re hungry. The staff is amazingly courteous.

Honestly, the place looks like a greasy spoon place from the outside. We finally checked it out yesterday... we'll definitely be back!

It's decorated nicely on the inside! I'd be great if they could bring some of that out front to attract more customers.

The food wasn't bad, much better than expected! The presentation could've been better.

The Lobster roll I ordered came on what looked like two store bought hotdog buns. But other than that it tasted great!

My wife had the cod taco's. She's normally pretty picky but she loved it!

The place also has a full bar which is nice.

The men's bathroom was kind of funked out and dirty but it's hadicap accessible.

All in all we were happy and satisfied.

Apparently they have great deals on their taco's every Tuesday. They call it "Taco Tuesday"! We may come back then and check it out.

Not worth the price.
Not worth half the price. Packaged tartar sauce?
Fish was OK, beer batter like fried chicken batter, not good. Chips were so oily had to wipe off with napkin.
New to town. What a disappointment. Will look in Prescott for GOOD Fish and chips
Has to be someplace better!

Sadly we went by this place many times and since we are looking to buy a house in Chino Valley we hoped to find and use a local restaurant not a chain we could try and put on our go to place. We go out of our wat to patronize small local places.
We saw Danny B's in Chino Valley on the main road and we like fish so went there Wednesday at 4PM
Since it is a small place and we did not want to wait we went early driving from Prescott. We both were not very hungry but felt fish and chips would be a perfect portion

To be expected the place was empty with only one employee and us the only customers. A very nice lady who was the waitress, cook and everything else.
I ordered a draft beer my wife ordered a fruit drink.
Since the main dishes include a variety of fish and chips my wife ordered the cod and I ordered cod and shrimp which came with 2 piece of cod and 3 shrimp.
Even though this is a small place and basic each dish was $20. It came with slaw and fries and hash puppies.
It looked OK at first but we soon found out the cook/waitress left everything in the fryer way to long.
To say it was over cooked is not saying much. My wife's was overcooked so she only ate 1 1/2 pieces of her cod then gave up selecting the piece less done.
Mine was worse. The shrimp was as close to burnt as it could be. The shrimp was so dry you could bang it on the table and very over cooked. I ate part of one shrimp and gave up leaving the other 2 as they were the worse. The cod was way over cooked. The top piece looked ok at first but the one under was smaller and even more well done.
Normally I would have sent it back but by that time neither of us felt like eating.
When we got the check it was very plain that I left most and my wife only ate about half but the waitress made no comment.
My wife and I have a soft touch for someone working hard for a living and not wanting to make an issue ruining her day since there was no manager or owner on site but she should have noticed the uneaten food and at least made a comment. There was no way she could have missed this.
In spite we were very disappointed we paid the check and gave her about a 24% tip.
I feel bad about writing a negative review since there are so many good ones but I am sure if the food was prepared properly it might have been good.
Like I said we are looking for a house or lot to build but have not found one yet. If we do we probably will give Danny's another try so many good reviews mean it was an off night but could have been rectified if the lady seeing the food was overdone in the first place and redid the order or offered to not charge us.

Why fry fish at home when you can have Danny B's do it for you? We had beer battered fish deep fried to perfection in this cute neighborhood bar and restaurant. It attracted some regulars and families. I had walleye and hubby had cod. The pub chips were crisp and tasty. And if you're a casual drinker, may I suggest the Mermaid Water? It's refreshing and just about right on the alcohol. I'll be returning until I find a favorite dish!

First time visited, had a great meal. Pleasantly surprised and said to myself, I'm coming back for sure.

Did a return trip about 2 weeks later, very different experience. Ordered the Lobster Mac N Cheese. It was tasty, but had no lobster and for $15 a little pricey for Mac N Cheese with bacon. They offered to remake, and still, maybe 2 bits of lobster.

The Beer Batter cod was overcooked this time, the beer batter was, overcooked (hard) and the fish wasn't as good.

With any restaurant, your experience will vary with each trip. I'll go back, I still have faith, but, I'll be focusing my order to different menu options for sure.
