Driving through Prescott on our way home from Northern AZ, I was looking for a locally owned lunch joint, and chose Gabby's because they had a good overall rating..... and it's the nickname for one of my sisters. But a look at the menu sold me it would be worth the stop, and we were NOT disappointed!!

My husband had what he says is the juiciest and most flavorful burger he's ever had (mesquite burger) along with some killer fries (crispy yet fluffy inside, and good seasoning). I enjoyed the apple chicken walnut sandwich with potato salad.
I was quite skeptical about toasted raisin bread, as a croissant is probably a more typical delivery system for a chicken salad sandwich, but WOW. It was a surprising depth of flavor, and I also enjoyed generous chunks of both apple and walnuts in the chicken salad. And the potato salad was herby and satisfying, reminded me a bit of family picnics as a child.

And no issues with the staff. We were seated quickly and felt we had adequate attention at our table without feeling rushed, despite arriving within the last hour of business for the day.

If we lived closer, we would swing back in for a meal in a heartbeat! And have already recommended Gabby's to anyone we know who has plans to be in the area.

It was a delight, and we left feeling well-fed and ready to tackle the rest of a long drive home.

We had come in as a large party and the staff was aware of our arrival and had a section set up for everyone. Service was fast, accurate, and friendly. Food looks like a typical diner type setting but I was very pleasantly surprised the flavor was well above that!

Small town diner vibe, great tasting food though! This is the eggs benedict and chorizo scramble.

The waitress was making racist comments with the customer right behind us (we were the only Mexicans) they started saying that the flies were there because they jump the border staff like that , we have to connect the lamp for the flies , they had disconnected to put a fan , there were flies everywhere! I ordered Benedict eggs , they supposed to be poached egg and the where almost completely raw

Great prices. The food is always good here but I ordered eggs Benedict to go with bacon, extra crispy, almost burnt....... What I got was almost not even cooked. I was disappointed.

Staff is very friendly and nice! The prices are affordable! But the best part the food was good! Delicious and tasty! The hot link was gooood! French toast even better!
