The Albany in Cheyenne is a must-visit for great food and a welcoming atmosphere. The bacon cheeseburger, made even better by adding blue cheese, was absolutely perfect—juicy, packed with flavor, and cooked just right. The side salad with balsamic vinaigrette was fresh, crisp, and a light, delicious complement to the meal.

The highlight for me was the Mediterranean plate appetizer. The hummus was creamy and flavorful, and the spicy feta added a bold kick that paired wonderfully with the warm pita bread. Every bite was exceptional. This spot delivers on taste, quality, and service—I’ll definitely be back!

The atmosphere and aestethics were cool. Dim lighting and old photos complimented the interior.

The food was pretty bad. The New York Strip was tasteless, unseasoned, & very fatty. The hummus appetizer was fine although the carrots were cut too large to be considered "sticks". The peach cobbler was like 80% breading. The soup of the day was good though - Cajun chicken.

Beautiful area of Cheyenne and really cool looking restaurant but would not return.

First time visit for dinner while downtown shopping. Party of 4 with an infant, and we were seated fairly quickly. Server was prompt and friendly. Two of us ordered the sirloin and a baked potato. One was ordered rare, the other medium well. Both came out medium rare. Bison flank steak had a peppercorn sauce that wasn't my favorite. There was one cheeseburger order as well, which left the rest of us wishing that was what we got. Nice ambiance and great staff, but don't see a return trip for us.

Very good, large portions, prime rib sandwich and burgers are never a let down, great place to eat in Cheyenne with a rustic vibe.

Warm atmosphere on a cold night. We ordered a dinner salad to share and the kitchen split it onto two plates for us. The creamy chicken soup was excellent. We ordered a chili burger to split also and again the kitchen served it on separate plates. As we are older, the portions shared were excellent in size upon recommendation from the server. We ordered the bread pudding, it was one of the best bread puddings I’ve ever eaten. It was the perfect size for sharing. I would return to the Albany and strongly suggest anyone visiting Cheyenne to dine here it’s right off the square which was decorated for Christmas. Post dinner stroll around the lighted decorations near the railroad depot, museum was delightful. And of course the view of the capital rotunda was awesome at night.

For those who don't know, this long-time downtown fixture is not only a restaurant it's also a full bar, and it has a package liquor side too. For this review, I will be discussing my time eating at the restaurant side of it. My recent visit here was the first time I've eaten at this restaurant in approximately 20 years. It felt meaningful being here because of the history of this restaurant with how long it has been open. Well, getting to my dining experience. All the staff I talked to were really friendly. My waitress was awesome and kept making sure my party and I were ok. The food took a bit longer to come out, but my thing is, I don't mind if it takes a little longer for the food as long as it's fresh. Well, the food was indeed very fresh. The burger I got was pretty decently sized, and it tasted very good. I was very pleased with how the food turned out. It just was an overall good visit. I think it's worth mentioning that this restaurant is in a great location with it being in the heart of downtown Cheyenne. It's right next to the depot and in walking distance to other attractions, shops, bars, and other businesses worth visiting.

Simple great food in a down home Wyo atmosphere! The burger was high quality meat, I was very impressed. Recommend the mushroom burger! For you ranch dressing snobs, their ranch dressing is house made. The empty plate photoed is a testament to how good the food!

I ordered The Albany....👌it was excellent.

Located by the train depot in downtown it's a good location for walking around and enjoying downtown.

Service was happy, attentive and professional.
