I wanted two things from a gym: Zumba classes and child care. This Y's Child Watch hours overlapped with their Zumba schedule, so I signed up, only to learn repeatedly that the Child Watch hours are not as advertised. The front desk staff eventually learned and told me that one Child Watch worker had gone back to school, so Monday and Thursday evenings just wouldn't have Child Watch anymore. The actual posted hours never changed; they just put up a little sign in the lobby those days. "Sorry for the inconvenience."
Saturdays were even worse because I waited around for 40 minutes after the supposed opening time and the Child Watch staff just never showed up.
I came to the gym for every scheduled Zumba class for three weeks and never got to attend the class. The Child Watch door was locked every time. I cancelled our membership after one month, having spent $103 (membership and startup fees) for nothing but four trips to the pool. Note: we might have gone to the pool more, but the pool closed indefinitely on August 24.

The front desk staff and the pool staff were great. It would be nice if someday the Child Watch evening and weekend staff show up to work or they adjust the posted hours to reflect the time they can cover. That would have saved me time and money.

Swim lessons at the Cheyenne Y are wonderful! The teachers are amazing, the kids love it and are making great progress, and the costs is so affordable for how many lessons you get each month.

I used to go here during the morning and it was great. I recently had a schedule shift and have been going in the evenings. I've had multiple times where the night staff is kicking everyone out, turning lights off on me and others, BEFORE they close. They say they're closed but it's still 10 minutes til the closing time. I check everytime just so I know when I need to end my workout and not bother them getting off on time. But you guys are literally exiting the building before 7 or 8 o clock and that tells me that you don't clean any equipment off or anything for that matter. I love this gym, not so much the night staff...we all are working 9 hours a day and squeezing our workout in at the end of the work day, having you guys growling at us to get out before you close when you guys have probably the shortest hours of all the Ys is really unprofessional.

Janet before/after school always handles my issues in a friendly manner and Chris(front desk) is awesome with paperwork, these 2 are amazing! I got assistance with my issue and Janet is knowledgeable to make sure my kid has the best time. I appreciate them for all they do 🙂

Now that the pool has been repaired, they are shut down from 12:30 until 3:30. The only time I can go is 11:30 to 1:00. So it’s extremely inconvenient now and I’m very disappointed.

There's been a recent turnover in management and the outcome is less than desirable. I caution anyone giving this facility your banking or credit card information for payment. In my case they continue to withdraw funds for future "previously scheduled weeks" that were cancelled. IMO, it's just plain stealing. Extremely disappointed with this facility.
