We greatly enjoyed our last stay at the Candlewood Suites. The staff was very friendly and welcoming on check-in. Our room was clean and comfy. We had enough space for the two of us to be very comfortable when we were in the room. Overall very quiet. It filled nightly while we were there yet we did not hear anyone else once in the room. Parking was convenient and the lot well-lit. We will make this our #1 choice when we visit family in Cheyenne in the future.

I Dawn Anthony checked in room 107 at 2:47 am this morning and the guy told me I could check out at 1 pm since I was an over the road driver coming in late. Well the front desk lady was so rude and called at 12:01pm after she already told me her check out time so then she comes to my room beating on the door it's 1203 we were loading up to push out the luggage carrier and she asks if we're staying. I told her " you already told me 12 it's 1203 we are heading out the door so I get to the front to get my receipt and I get a notification alert on my credit card it's been charged another 170.00 smh. Well she told me they only charged me 150.00 but gave me 2 different receipts for 148.00 then another for 150.00 so then I call my bank and they talked to her and told her they held 170.00 twice and then she goes back on her computer then say "oh yes it's 2 pending transactions for 170.00 smh. Saying "they might be trying to make sure it's enough money on the card". Checking out they shouldn't authorize another 170.00 if they already did it at 2:47 that morning she lied until I called my bank and verified I also called IHG and they told me it was 2 reservations made on the hotel mistake so it was showing 2 reservations smh I only stayed from 2:47 am til 12:03 same day check out so 170.00 shouldn't be authorized twice IHG say they are reaching out to manager please refund my 170.00 this is not right I love this hotel but if I'm going to have to deal with this as a truck driver I will bypass this hotel

I was pleasantly surprised to find how nice and clean this hotel was. We hadn’t ever stayed there before & we enjoyed the cleanliness & comfort. They had a nice recliner & 2 chairs.

we chose this hotel because we were traveling with a 40 pound dog. Found it to be a very comfortable room and the staff were wonderful. with many options of hotels in Cheyenne at the I 25 I 80 interchange we found this hotel to have extremely comfortable rooms, small kitchen with full size refrigerator with freezer. This was helpful in order for us to refreeze our cooling packs for the rest of our trip. Breakfast is not included, but there is a lovely diner right next-door with great breakfasts and take away if you want to bring it back to your room and enjoy it.this is the first hotel that has offered a recliner chair and that was very appreciated. a lot of semi drivers stay here and prepare their meals so there is a little bit more food. Cooking sent Notice, but not to a detriment. Highly recommended.

Friendly staff, clean rooms. I travel often and its nice to have a full fridge and usable kitchen space. The desk space is big enough to put my laptop and printer on with room to do paperwork. The laundry machines are new and free. There are three restaurants within 2 minutes.

I called IHG and they said that they accept emotional support animals with no fee as a service animal. When I arrived they pulled out a sheet from the Candlewood office that said ES Animals are not considered service animals. I know that a lot of people state that their pets are emotional support animals but I had all of my paperwork and they would not accept it. The night clerk referred me to the day manager and she said the same thing, "that even though they are an IHG hotel, they follow the Candlewood guidelines and will not acknowledge ES dogs as service animals." I stayed at 4 locations during my vacation and this location was the only one that charged me. We also were assigned a handicap room as we asked for the first floor. They could have given us an option if that was the only room left. Very dissatisfied.

The room was large and well maintained. I appreciated having a kitchenette with full-size appliances plus a large table/desk area with 2 chairs in addition to a recliner. This was the first hotel bathroom I have been in with great lighting and there were extra shelves to hold personal items. There was a full-size closet with plenty of hangers. Trash cans were much larger than most hotels have which easily accommodated trash generated from eating in-room. I was impressed with the in-house grocery and the prices for the items. We will return to this hotel.
