As the cheapest traveler I know, I didn’t expect much, but I was pleasantly surprised. The lobby is beautiful and really looks like picture! The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the continental breakfast was pretty good, including waffles! If you’re passing through, especially if you have dogs, I highly recommend this place. If you’re allergic to cats, don’t worry; they are not allowed!

Cheyenne Guest Inn is our go to place for the last couple of years driving from Canada to Arizona and back. This year we stopped there in December 2024 and again in January 2025. The exterior may be deceiving but the rooms are exceptionally clean every time, staff are friendly and helpful. We had a beautiful King bed the last time there and it had all the amenities you'd want-fridge, microwave, hair dryers, etc. The rate is very reasonable and we absolutely keep this as one of our best stops!

The room is a little dated but very clean. The absence of a hair dryer and coffee machine are a testament to the budget price. The free breakfast was simply toast, waffles, coffee. No eggs.

I made a reservation with my partner and to begin with, we are greeted by a bad-looking man with a bad smell of cigarettes, we came from far away and decided to stop there to rest and be able to continue on the road. There was an inconvenience with the reservation and the gentleman instead of helping us solve the problem wanted us to pay again. Anyway, all bad, no reservation, no good service and no refund. They should take very seriously the issue of changing the staff at least for a good-looking person who helps you solve a problem. Unless this hotel is dedicated only to scamming people.

It is my second stay as I road-travel from state to state for work and it so happened I have an overnight stop in Cheyenne. It is relatively close to the Interstate and reasonable pricing. The room is clean and as expected from the picture. It has a breakfast corner if you need a quick bite before heading back to the road. I would stay here again if my route is within the Cheyenne area and if I need a quick, comfortable overnight stay. 👍👍

If you read any of my hotel / motel reviews, then you know I'm on an extended road trip.
I stayed at this hotel for a week. Always wanted to visit cheyenne. Found this hotel online & was very glad that I chose to stay here. Well, I'm almost glad.
The hotel itself has no issues with me it was a clean, safe location quiet. The room was nice. Housekeeping was good. I ran out of tissue paper one late afternoon after housekeeping was gone for the day, so I walked myself down to the front desk, my dumb self thinking it was no big deal.
I found out later that I was going to be waited on by the hotel manager . Come find out it was a big deal. I had bothered her. Oh my, I had made a demand on her time her name is Sun & please don't bother her or ask her for anything. I unfortunately had to approach her several times over my week long stay. She doesn't smile she doesn't care what you need she doesn't want to know or to help you.
This woman is hurting the hotel by her indifference.
I even left her a note to try & and help, but I believe this has been an ongoing problem. I wish I could talk to the owner. I don't want this person to l lose her job, but as a customer, I shouldn't have to deal with her either.

Positive: Attention to detail. Negative: Everything was great but if I could.find one thing it was the shower base was squeaking (pretty loud) didn't honestly concern me. But made me worried for neighboring room might hear at midnight.

Worst management staff ever. Makes up lies to keep your deposit. Lady claims there was smoking done in the room but I for one don't even smoke and for two she couldn't explain to me how she determined her opinion. That's theft to a T. $100 they stole from me for nothing. I am beyond upset and extremely unsatisfied. The place would be better off if it were demolished or burned to the ground. It's crazy that ppl like that can legally steal from u without consequences.
