Positive: How helpful the night clerk was. Very kind and accommodating. Negative: The breakfast has changed and was not good. Bread items were stale, not sure what they said was bacon was actually bacon. Felt like the quality that was there the last time we stayed just wasn?t the same.

I've been on a road trip and staying in a lot of dive motels to save money when I can't find a campsite.

This place felt like absolute luxury in comparison. It's a very nice hotel with very nice rooms... Until I wanted to sleep. The walls are paper thin. If people are talking in the room next to you, they might as well be in your room with you.

We had a bad experience in November. I would NOT stay again. I'll bullet point our experiences for your ease of reading.
•The room was dirty and had dog hair pushed into the corners.
•The couch was ripped up under the cushions in the room.
•There was no blackout curtain.
•There was a moldy bagel at the front of the bread container at breakfast.
•The breakfast staff didn't care about the bagel until his boss specifically told him what to do about it.
•Breakfast guy also wiped crumbs from the counters onto the floor with his bare hands and left them there.

The room was very spacious, clean and quiet. I would like to have had more trash receptacles(there was only one and it was located in the bathroom, so you were constantly having to go to the bathroom area to throw away trash.)
Continental breakfast had a really nice variety and very tasty. Food needed to be warmer. We ate at 6:30am so it should've been hot.

The room was average, compared to other mid priced hotels. The bed was comfortable. The room was fairly spacious and the bathroom had a walk-in shower.
The daily complimentary guest breakfast left a little to be desired, in spite of the fact that the person preparing it was efficient.
Housekeeping, unfortunately only happened the first day after arriving, and not again during my 16 day stay.

We ended up considering this a disappointment. Looked good but there were several small issues. 1st, we booked a king bed; we got 2 queens. 2nd, handicapped bathroom is a regular tub with transfer equipment: not helpful for someone with trouble stepping over the edge. Bathroom did have lots of grab bars. 3rd, only one trash can for the entire room. 4th, no privacy shade or curtain over window to outside; staff jury rigged one out of a sheet after I complained. It was obvious that this was a known issue. 5th, low water pressure in shower head made it difficult to get clean.
We chose a different hotel chain for rest of trip.

Positive: The staff was by far the best part of the hotel. They were awesome and helpful to the best of their ability. I would recommend this hotel but check your room that everything works. Negative: We were given a room with broken shades so we couldn't close them. We then moved to a different room across the hall and while it did have working shades for privacy/sun there was trash or debris on the floor by the bed. Bathroom was clean though.
