The tourist magazines in the lobby with things to do were outdated with the pages cut up. The pool was dirty water clean but ring around it, said they didn't have housekeeping. We were in Room 304 our water pressure was awful and our plugs were very loose. They had tiny bottles of dove but did not seem to replace them from one day to the next. They did make one bed & not the other but we did have stuff on it. We had one light bulb out. They had caution tape all over the pool area where maybe they once upon a time had the hot tub, the pool hours said 10 but staff said 9, we had 7 of us with two rooms, the other room had dirty sheets. Supposed to be pet friendly but said the room that slept 6 wasn't a pet friendly room! The staff is hard to understand. I have stayed in worse though. Breakfast is not allowed to be taken to the room it's not a really good one but it's a little more than a continental breakfast. Halls smell of marijuana but elevator works great.The pool isn't handicap accessible nor has a good ladder it's kinda rickety.

The hotel room on the other hand was not as pictured and described. There appeared to be no smoke detector, broken turn rod for the blinds, an A/C unit that had dead bugs in front of it and a questionable shelf built on top of it, no headboards, no lamps, no decoration, no mini fridge, no microwave, a make shift night stand using the top of an old nightstand connected to the wall, ripped holes in the bed skirts, and stained sheets. Tie mattress felt like cardboard!||The bathroom facet had a calcified hole in it, the shower was inoperable, no fan cover in the bathroom exposing dirt and spider webs, and no bathroom trash can.

I have stayed here the past 3 weeks, multiple nights per week. While traveling for work in 3 different rooms, and haven't found a single thing to complain about. Rooms smell clean and look clean, and the staff are very friendly and helpful

Clean place... front door needs fixed... with the Illinois wind it was flying open alot and slamming shut too. Granted out room was right above entrance also. Breakfast left a little to be desired, but was adequate for small quick meal. Good bar in front of facility though if you need one!! Oh.. had to wait to get checked in... not enough staff. Hard to understand staff at times too.

Stayed here to be close to Mount Zion high school for a grandchild’s performance.
The room was clean, beds very comfy and was quiet. We had a decent breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

It’s a good price for a decent bed and room. I wouldn’t stay here expecting any amenities. Location and parking are good too with friendly check-in staff.

I normally stay at another hotel when I come in but had a last minute change of mind and am glad I did! They have done some remodeling which they really needed. Could still use more fresh fruit and maybe some bacon or sausage for breakfast but what they had tasted fine. The room was clean, the place was quiet. I will definitely be back

We stayed one night, used the pool and had a great nites sleep in a comfy king bed. Excellent friendly service by all the staff, The main entrance, our room and the pool were clean and well maintained. Good breakfast selection. Great value for the price. My wife said it was the best Ramada we've stayed at in years.
