Imagine going to your sister's or bestfriend's house for a respite. Her house would be charming and warm because you knew it would be...like going home I felt at ease immediately with Linda(super-owner) and her other guests. This is a cross between a B&B and an old-fashioned boarding house with everyone pitching in as needed. I was fortunate to be there during one of Linda's film Events held in the side yard with a movie shown of an outdoor wall. This was such a great opportunity to meet the people of Globe, which, to me is the joy of traveing... meeting new people and seeing new things. Cedar Hill was my home base for my 2 night stay which was too short. The surrounding area has much to offer. I am already planning a return visit.

I am a travel nurse working in Globe for a few months and stayed at Cedar Hill for most of that time. I had not stayed anywhere like this prior to coming here but I am so glad I did. It's like a B&B/Boarding house that is so comfortable and relaxed. A historic home full of character and charm, but with plenty of modern conveniences as well. The owner, Linda is lovely and so nice to talk to. She knows a lot about the town and area around and also recommended places to go when I asked. I work nights and slept during the day and I never had any trouble with noise or anything. I really enjoyed my stay at Cedar Hill and would recommend it to anyone staying one night or many.

Four of us were doing a bicycle tour through the area when we met Linda, who owns the B&B. After talking to her, we cancelled our reservation at one of the chain hotels in town, so we could try out her place & we're so glad that we did. She's got a beautiful, warm house in the heart of town. Moreover, she was so welcoming... she even invited us to her friends NYE party. Hands down, Globe is an unbelievably friendly town and Linda's place feels like it's a the center of that friendliness.

If you're someone who loves a grand old home with modern conveniences, beautiful antiques and hosted by an amazing woman who lives life to the fullest, this b & b is for you. I actually avoid b&b's because I tend to like quieter venues with less interaction. Linda Gross knows the perfect balance of engaging and allowing space. She's also a fantastic chef in the spacious and warm kitchen. Being a newspaper publisher, she pointed out places of interest and current fun things in town. This was the first B&B we stayed in on our 11,000 mile/ 7week trip around the country. And, the first B&B we had really ever stayed at. It was the inspiration to seek and find wonderful little places during the entire fabulous trip. Linda was not there when we arrived, but she sent a super substitute and we all had a great time. I had spoken w/Linda prior to the arrival and was not surprised by her temporary absence. BUT, there was wine, snacks, fireplace, fun. The next morning, a great breakfast in the kitchen as we visited with Linda and another couple. ||||Not the fanciest place, but very comfortable and homey. Would I return? You bet!!

Stayed four days while doing some genealogical research for a book. The owner, Linda, could not have been more helpful or knowledgeable. Make sure you check in with her about what to go and see. She is the publisher of the local newspaper, so she knows EVERYTHING and EVERYONE. The house was perfectly located near historic Old Globe and very true to its era, but not dusty or fussy like some other B&B's I have stayed in. Felt more like staying with friends, which is what it became. Linda is fun, funny, but also attentive without being intrusive. It could not have been more perfect. I am just going to have to come back to do more research...

We just finished a two-day stay at Cedar Hill B&B. It was perfect for us because it was accessible to the downtown area (COBRE Valley Center for the Arts and Pickle Barrel Trading Post) and also to rafting along the Salt River (Salt River Rafting). The three rooms are all on the first floor (two in the front, one in the middle) and have access to two bathrooms, a large front porch, and a living room (with a TV, although we had a TV in our room as well), and internet. The proprietor, Linda Gross, is a warm, welcoming, and fun person who prepares great breakfasts. This was a welcome change after staying in a chain hotel where breakfast amounted to eating some cereal out of a styrofoam bowl, with little/no interaction with anyone around you.

A comfortable, classy, larger home with nice private yard and old fashion front porch w/ a porch swing, one block from downtown Globe, retaining it's historic charm, hosted by a lovely lady who's big heart is a gift to the community. Cedar Hill B & B exceeded our expectations.
