We were in town to see a play and stayed at the Courtyard last night 4/2. From the atmosphere at check in, to the comfort of the room, to the friendliness of all the staff we encountered everything made for a perfect stay. We normally try different hotels every-time we come, but after this experience we will be returning here every time we’re in town. Celeste at the front desk was absolutely amazing in every way and Lawrence the manager was friendly and fun. The nice girl at the bar last night made the best old fashioned I’ve had. Keep up the great work at this great hotel! Will recommend to all my friends when they come to town

Outstanding experience! Room was spotlessly clean and fresh, very comfortable. Common areas of the hotel were also very clean. But what made it so fantastic was the staff. Lawrence and Celeste at the front desk, and the young woman at the bistro cafe were wonderful, cheerful, friendly, warm people who made us feel so comfortable and welcome during our stay. Will definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.

Overall, a positive experience. Lobby was a bit cold and they had space heaters going due to the single digit temps. The pool area was a bit chilly, amplified by the mist system they have. Jared was great, as the night manager and helped us with a few things, in addition to getting the room next to ours for the night. Location was great, a lot to do around the area and you don't necessarily have to move your vehicle from the parking garage.

Completely disappointed. My partner got stuck in Peoria after a long day and got a room last minute. The night person said the room was going to be 70$ in the morning he was told breakfast was extra and at check out they charged 109$ plus tax.

Rooms were decent, showers were inserts that weren't installed very well, the floor of the shower made noises and if flexed when you shifted your feet. The location and surroundings were less than desirable, the lobby had transients in it each morning and there were transients walking back and forth on the curb along the building looking for partially smoked cigarettes and even dumped out the used cigarette container on the sidewalk looking for one to smoke. The biggest frustration was the speed of service for breakfast and items as simple as coffee, 30 minutes was unacceptable. The hot tub was out of service without any mention of it by the front desk.

Considering I tried to pay with points and the nightly rate was 40k points something was completely backwards as this hotel should have been 15k at the most.
Every chair in the lobby area had noticeable stains on them.

We had a terrible experience staying in the Courtyard Peoria Downtown. In room 1 we found a bed bug crawling along the pillow in the morning after sleeping there. In room 2 we found bed bug evidence. The hotel was awful to deal with in the wake of the discovery. Almost a month later we are still waiting to have the issue addressed appropriately. Avoid staying here!

Not going to lie. After reading the reviews, I was a little leery about staying there. But, the place was awesome, ALL the staff was beyond pleasant and happy to see you. Parked in the parking garage, which is attached, was able to walk the sky walk to the Peoria Civic Center. Hotel was very clean, rooms were great.|The only con really was the Bar/Bistro area. After the concert, which got done pretty early, we headed back to the hotel. Thought it would be nice to have a drink at the hotel bar and chat before heading up. All the lights were on but no one seemed to appear to wait on us. Stood there for a while, went across the street to Hoops to get a drink. They were packed to say the least so we took our drinks back across the street and finished in the hotel lobby. Someone appeared at the bar at the hotel then, only to close it out for the night. My thoughts were that they lost a lot of money by no one being there to wait on us. Just my opinion. All in all, we loved the hotel, the location, the rooms, the staff and will definitely stay there again.
