This very nice privately operated park is on a big lake. The management is nice and keeps things in order. We camped one night in our tent and stayed one on a cabin with AC. We were there in early August, and the temperature was quite hot.
The cabin is just bare bones, but the AC made it all worth it.
Good fishing for big catfish there.

Needed a place to stay the night. Was great and very affordable. Had a bath house with great water pressure and hot water! Very clean also! Even had a laundry mat for the campers also. Has spots for tents and rvs. Everyone was friendly and will definitely come back again!

Great location, easy access to everything around town.
The sites are nice sized, not huge, but definitely not small. The playground was small but fun, my kiddos enjoyed it. Easy walk down to the river, the showers were clean and hot with good water pressure.
Local law enforcement drove thru regularly, it felt safe, well lit at night, and friendly staff.
We stayed here a week with our 35 ft fifthwheel and would definitely stay here again!

Campers are close together. Fishing was good. Bathroom and shower were clean. No firewood or bait available. Has laundry facility. No camp store. Tiny playground.

Close to downtown Peoria, there’s tent, rv and cabin spots. $15 for tent spot, the only things that’s confusing is how the sites are labeled for tent spots. Awesome showers, hot and good pressure, 4 stalls. Check out is 12pm. Right by the lake and a great view of the bridge

Called to book 3 RV spots last minute for a late arrival and they had everything organized for our arrival. Very straight forward, affordable and convenient for our 45 ft rigs. Easy to get in and out. Wonderful facilities and staff. Right on the water. Would highly recommend.

I was there in my rv for about a week. They have full hook-ups, and all sites are back-in. The guests I met were friendly, plus a few were year-round residents, although for the most part, they close December 1st and reopen March 1st. It's a clean park with an area where you can take your dogs down by the river. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable, and friendly. There is a laundromat and a shower house. There is also a small area for kids with swings and a slide. This was my second or third time staying at this campground.

Great place to camp. Good value, sites were clean and well kept. All problems were handled quickly and efficiently. Because of age, we are no longer camping, but if we were, we would not hesitate to stay there again.
