We tried Mongolian beef and Generals chicken. The generals chicken was soggy and didn't have the authentic taste at all. We didn't like this dish. The Mongolian beef was just ok. Beef was really chewy. The egg roll was mediocre, nothing to be happy about. Not interested in returning. The place did seem to be busy. Service was not bad.

Bamboo garden is a hidden gem inside of a first I almost passed it by well, I'm glad I didn't. This place has been a local gem ever since Number One Chop Suey in Oak Forest closed this is. My new go-to for Chinese food. I had the chicken walnut dinner spicy and my friend had beef. Broccoli, both dishes were very good. The restaurant itself was clean. However, they did seem a bit unexpectedly short-staffed for our visit. I would go back. I would recommend it to local friends.

Amazing place, great people. The lady at the counter always remembers me, when I order. I actually haven't had their banana smoothie in a while, but I'm definitely craving it again, along with their food! They do have a lunch and dinner special menu, and all of their servings are bigger, compared to other Chinese restaurants I've been to over the years. I've brought friends here, and I've recommended this place I don't even know how many times already, and I will continue to do so.

This has been my go to Chinese restaurant since 2010, and I'm hoping for another decade of awesome! 🙂

I have since gone back for both dine-in and take-out, and they still offer amazing quality and service!

1st time customer so I was cautious about buying too much. We got a carryout of course. The egg rolls were delicious. The jumbo shrimp fried rice and jumbo shrimp egg foo young were huge portions. However we were not impressed with the taste. It seemed tasteless and oily. The rice seemed a bit over cooked. Just seemed like some seasoning was missing on this order.

I am being generous with my rating because so many other reviewers gave a good rating. And I understand how things can go wrong at times. But for a 1st impression we were not impressed. Maybe a trip for egg rolls.

I seriously had one of the best chicken pad Thai in the greater area of southwest Chicago from Bamboo Garden Restaurant.

Ask for extra sauce and you have a competitor in chitung pad thai... I'm coming back!

Great food at great prices.
Restaurant may seem to some a little hole in the wall, but don't judge! This place is a real gem.

They use to be good, but very disappointed with my last order. Me and my children got sick, the food had egg shells and hair in it. 🤢 🤮 never going back they lost my business.

A great place with good prices, I always enjoy the flavors. They serve you good portions, not that big, but enough to satisfy your hunger. The only thing for which I do not give it 5 stars is for the rude treatment of the attention, it seems that the language barrier makes them never smile and treat you in a rude way. For the rest, an excellent place to enjoy good Chinese food.
