Some of the nicest owners I've ever met. Felt at home from the moment I checked in.

Rooms were clean and the area is very quiet and safe.

Unfortunately that's where the good things stopped.

I was in room 10 and stayed for a week,

The Wi-Fi did not work for the entire week unless I was actually outside or within 2 rooms of the office. So if you're here to do business or need Wi-Fi to connect your devices to, do not stay here because the Wi-Fi does not work.

They do have well water, and I have to say, I grew up in a house that had well water and I have never smelled water this bad. I showered everyday and not only would the room smell like rotten eggs but I would as well for 4-6 hours after. No amount of body spray or deodorant would make the smell go away.

The only outlet in the room that I believe was up to code was the one in the bathroom because it was a GTI outlet. Every other outlet in the room would not actually hold a plug, You would plug something in and 5-10 minutes later it would be laying on the floor. Multiple times I would plug my phone charger in at night and when I woke up in the morning to it would be on the floor in the room. I woke up multiple times to the air conditioner not working because the plug fell out of the outlet.

The lights in the room constantly flickered, constantly. It made me feel like I was at a rave. I essentially had to turn all of the lights off because it got to the point where it was causing me to have a headache every single day.

They are currently going through renovations and my son and I were woken up at 6:50 in the morning by their construction crew pulling the siding off of the building. It happened twice. As far as I'm aware you're not even allowed to start construction like that until at least 7:00 or 8:00 in the morning. The people working on the hotel blocked me into my parking space by parking directly behind me two of the last three days I was there.

Anthony's Pizza, which is directly next store, will not honor the specials on the menu this hotel provides you during check-in. It clearly states on the menu that I was given, every day special lasagna with a side salad for 8 or 9 bucks. When I walked over and went into Anthony's to place my order I was told, oh no that's only Sunday and we will not honor the hundreds if not thousands of menus that we printed and sent out. Whoever was working the counter at Anthony's was ridiculously high and I'm not even sure he knew where he was at. He should not have a job to where he interacts with human beings.

All in all if you can get over the fact that every time you turn on a faucet or a shower it's going to smell like rotten eggs in your room for 4 to 6 hours and that you may only have one if not two plugs to actually plug something into, by all means stay here because the owners are very nice but the hotel is literally stuck in 1982.

I would have happily stayed here longer because I'm in town for work but between the absolutely horrendous smelling water, the fact that not a single outlet in the room would actually hold a plug and the fact that the Wi-Fi didn't work for a single second I was in the room, I would never stay at this hotel again.

$400-$450 a week for a room that has absolutely horrendous smelling water, no WiFi and outlets that don't work.

The office is rarely ever attended. If you need to contact someone you need to make a phone call and wait around for someone to show up. This took place not only during my check in but as well as when two other people who were staying in the hotel were trying to check out. I happen to be walking across the parking lot to throw away my garbage, since I was here a week and not once did someone show up to clean my room., and was asked buy two other people who were staying there how they were supposed to check out since there was nobody in the office.

At the most this hotel should be charging between $200 and $250 a week Anything over that and you're going to be ripped off based on the fact that they can't even provide basic necessities

Dave and Pam were great. Just really good down to earth people. I stayed for a week while there on business and I feel like family. It's a 60's Era road motel, and it just felt right. I had a great stay, and it was VERY reasonable $$! They truly blessed my trip.

A diamond in the rough, cost effective rates, close to shopping, restaurants within walking distance. Great management makes you feel at home and treats you like family. Had a great time. Some of my fondest moments over the past year were with friends at the Vista Motel.
Whether, your looking for overnight or longer stay the Vista will meet your needs. Very attentive and caring to all the guests. Peaceful and Quite like being out in a country setting.

To Brianna:
I would like to respond to the actual events of the phone conversation. By the way my coworker also heard the conversation. You called the Motel and asked if we took pets. I said no we do not take pets. You then asked me if we take service animals I said yes. not sure if you heard me, say Yes service dogs are Allowed. You then asked me if we take emotional support animals I said no, they fall under the no pet policy. You then became hostile and argumentative with me. Saying we had to take emotional support animals and service dogs and that I don't know the law and that I was discriminating against a Veteran. Emotional support animals are not covered under the ADA, only a service dog is Allowed.
Emotional Support Animals are not covered under the ADA when it comes to a hotel/ motel or any other public facility that Do Not allow pets. We also do not fall under the Fair housing act because we are a Motel. We do not discriminate against veterans either. I have many veterans that have stayed here, as well as my own family who served our country. So please don't say we discriminate. We do not.
You had asked what we charged. Our overnight rate is $80.00 a night (included Tax) which is average.
I also asked you the dates you needed the room, the room was available to you and your Service Dog. Just not emotional support animals. You told me never mind you were going somewhere else.
You should also never Assume that someone else doesn't know the laws pertaining to the American Disability Act and the laws pertaining to service animals' vs ESA. I'm very well versed in them both.
Maybe you should ask yourself this question “Is the person I’m speaking with also Handicapped or do they live with someone who is handicapped?” because you never know someone else’s situation.
Thought you should know before you make an accusation about prejudice and discrimination against a person or business.
It was your choice where you chose to stay.
Have a blessed day.

The owner was a bit creepy and he was washing his car in the parking lot when we came there. It wasn't bad, defiantly affordable but the walls were thin and the air conditioner in our room was broken. I mean it was nice for a couple of hours with my love but I wouldn't stay there over night.

The management is great, they make you feel at home. Anything you need, it was never a problem. Rooms are clean, quiet. I really enjoyed my stay here. I would stay here again. Pam is the best, very professional.

As soon as I said "service animal" she cut me off and said pets are not allowed of any kind. FYI, service animals are NOT legally defined as pets. They are SERVICE ANIMALS. But apparently they'd rather discriminate and be argumentative telling me it is not allowed. I guess they are above federal law. Just spend the $80 and go to the Quality Inn, that's where I plan on going. So, if you're disabled or handicapped or a veteran with a TRAINED service dog, don't bother calling this place. They are not very smart when it comes to the law. Does not look like the nicest place anyway, not sure how they get off charging $80.

Worst motel I have ever been to. Management & owner watches your every move on the cameras and comes into your rooms while your gone even when you tell them not to. The owner is not nice and has crazy Nazi rules, like you can't be out on the deck after 10pm and you can't speak to any of the people staying in the other rooms. They have well water that smells horrible and are over priced. Do not go here. This place needs to be bought out and rebuilt with different management and owner.
