The hotel's location in Danville places it within a short drive of cultural and historical sites, such as the Lincoln Heritage Trail, allowing for easy excursions. Additionally, the surrounding community offers shopping and dining experiences, making it a versatile choice. The hotel is dated but our room was clean and fully functional. One of the two elevators was not functioning and appeared to have been so for quite some time according to the date on the "Do not use" sign. The breakfast was better than what we expected considering the low price of the hotel. High on the carbs, but with a decent selection of breakfast items. Small exercise room but the equipment was in good repair and functioning properly, with the exception of the TV in the room. Staff was friendly and responsive.

I’ve been in a lot of hotels and this one by far is the nastiest I’ve ever seen. The lobby seems fine and dandy but as soon as we opened the door to our room we were greeted by a stench equivalent to a large man working outside on a hot summer day. Then we noticed the sheets were stained and the pillows had a beige tint to them. Then upon further inspection noticed all kinds of hair around the whole room, from human (who knows what part of the body) to canine. Definitely would not recommend this hotel to ANYONE no matter how on a budget you are. If I could leave 0 stars I would!!

The hotel itself is a little dated and they are obviously working on upgrading. BUT, the rooms were clean, the breakfast was good, with hot and cold options, the beds were comfortable, water temp and pressure were great.

Most importantly, Golan checked us in and was wonderfully friendly, quick, and cheerfully accommodated our request for a roll away for my granddaughter. He helpfully let me know about breakfast and gave great recommendations for food for dinner. He also was attentive and helpful when I came down to the lobby looking for the vending machines later.

Brent was fast, friendly, and speedy getting the rollaway up to the room, set up, and very accommodating about making sure we were happy with its placement. He was also great getting us quickly checked out in the morning.

Overall, this was a great value and a pleasant stay.

Owner charges 100 for incidentals and keeps the money every time if use a card. If you use cash he returns it because he has too. Do not stay here unless you want to spend 175 a night for 1 star hotel. Rude and terrible ownership. No continental breakfast. This is a very very bad hotel and they do not clean or maintain anything as far cleanliness.

Absolutely horrible.🤮 We were a big skeptical at first when we chose this place, but it was better than nothing. The check in was fine, but when we walked into our room, we realized what we had walked into.

First off, there was hair on a pillow on one of our beds so we had to clean it off. When we started to unpack, we recognized how bad the paint job was here. It felt like they were trying to repaint the room but they started to slowly give up halfway through. Everywhere the walls had a weird crack in them for who-knows-what reason, and the bathroom had a square near the blow dryer plug which looked like a outlet got pulled out and didn’t get painted over. The curtain had these white spots on it from who-knows, so we avoided the curtain as much as possible. Also there was a chair there and to be honest, it was kind of creepy for it to just, you know, be there. It was placed in a corner as if to mark something off a checklist. The door had a large gap on the bottom and it brought a lot into our room.

Also, this place seems to have a branding issue. It’s a “Days Hotel by Wyndham”, but the phone in the room says “AmericInn” so what place is it?

While we were there, one of the 2 elevators had been closed by the fire department and the pool has been closed too. We used the elevator (that was working) once because it felt like it was going to brake in us because it was very slow and felt outdated.

This really should be your last resort hotel if all the other ones nearby are full because this place was absolutely disgusting.

After immediately walking into the room, there was a disgusting smell. The counters and mirrors were clearly not wiped down. There was dog hair all over the floor and stains on the sheets. After going down to get a refund and move to a new hotel, the lady at the front desk was extremely rude and said to a coworker “go and check the room because APPARENTLY it’s not clean and it stinks” would not ever recommend.

Stayed two nights at the Days Hotel. This hotel has seen better days. It is in need of major renovations. The rooms were clean but in much need new hardware. The cable TV picture was anything but HD. One of the two elevators has been out of service for almost two months. There was a complimentary continental breakfast. Stay elsewhere.

I have never stepped foot into a more disgusting hotel in my life!! The lobby stunk and upon opening our room door the smell made me want to vomit. The sheets were not clean and the staff were very rude when we requested a refund and were forced to move to a new hotel. I would never recommend this hotel to anyone EVER!
