Food was fantastic, drinks were strong. Service was very friendly and efficient. I got the French dip and an espresso martini and would definitely recommend. Prices aren’t too bad although, not cheap. Atmosphere was beautiful and laidback while being slightly upscale.

Hungry for just a salad at lunchtime. South did not disappoint. Got the regular garden salad with grilled chicken added. It was very good. Fresh lettuce and carrots, chicken was good. Ranch dressing is a bit heavy on the garlic—but tasty, so if you have an interview or appointment afterward, make sure you have gum or mints.? The outdoor seating area looks very nice and cozy. Our server was awesome!

A good friend(Kurt)back in Michigan recommended South to us because he grew up with the executive chef (Shane). Truly glad that he did, everything about the place was wonderful, from the casual elegance of the decor, the very attentive wait staff and well, let's be honest, the real reason for this post, The Food!! The French dip was melt in your mouth tender. And the lollipop pork chop was superb, the subtle combo of the ingredients sneaks up on you,enhancing the dish and not overpowering it. When in Anchorage, South is a MUST go to!!

Came in for a post-hike meal. I sat at the bar and ordered.
Breakfast was fast and delicious- the menu is breakfast and lunch and there was a big variety. The people to the left and right of me all ordered lunch items which looked amazing.
My waitress/ bartender (Sara) was friendly and fast. I was never rushed.

Loved this place! More than just another overpriced Sysco meal!! Thank you so much for being here and filling our bellies with good food in a comfortable environment! Got the turkey sandwich on special with a sunrise smoothie and it hit the spot!

Beautiful first breakfast in Alaska. The reindeer sausage was amazing. We had the Polar Bear breakfast and it was really good for the price. The Coffee was a little weak but still good.

My wife and I got recommend this place about a year ago, maybe year and a half. We have gone twice for dinner and today we tried their breakfast menu.

Their dinner is pretty good, I'd recommend going at least once. I must say, after our visit today, we think their one of the best breakfast olaces in town!

I got the Polar Bear Breakfast, and it came with one pancake and not multiple ?. I thought it was odd for the price only to offer 1. I was pleasantly surprised and glad i only got the 1; it was as big as the plate!!
My wife tried the Vegas, Baby. She loved every bite, but said the potatoes were the best part!

I tried the buscuit her meal came with, and now i want to go back again and try their biscuits and gravy ?

I almost forgot to mention that the waitstaff are super friendly and the food comes out quicker than you think (unless it is busy. Very easy to see why they do get busy, lol). 10/10 want to come back and will recommend ?

Oh!!! And their coffee cold brew is customizable and delicious! And their other drinks are great too!!!

The food was so delicious, the space cute with lots of natural light and seating. Our waitress Natasha was incredibly nice.
The croque madame and homemade biscuit were perfect to split for a small breakfast.
