Do not book here if you’re having an event if you’re okay with your deposit not being returned due to cookie crumbs and a minor spill ! (Plus I do not remember having any spills at our event !) PLEASE TAKE PHOTOS AFTER YOUR EVENTS IF YOU STILL DECIDE TO BOOK. Any event is gonna have things like these which should be understandable to the renter. We asked for a broom/vacuum before we left to sweep up our party’s crumbs on the floor & we were told they would clean up the floors.. I was not satisfied with the experience. Nothing was destroyed & we were emailed almost 2 weeks later regarding the issue they had. Definitely would not recommend!

The banquet hall is beautiful and spacious. Today would have been the day to host my Baby Shower. My husband signed a contract back in November of 2020 to rent the banquet hall for my Baby Shower for February 28th from 5pm to 10pm for the amount of 120 people. Remind you that at that time Covid was worsened at that time. We bought all the decorations and mailed out our invitations to our family members and friends for a short Baby Shower for the upcoming arrival of our son. My husband called the park district to confirm everything for the upcoming Sunday and they stated “Yes for the amount of 50 people”. And my husband stated “No, I signed for the amount of 120 and I have the contract stating that.”. The park district stated that they are just following the State Guidelines but the thing is ‘When did you guys plan to tell us that’ On such a last minute, my husband was stressed out and called me. I was really really heart broken because all that work that my family and I put for that upcoming baby shower. And the fact that we invited soo many people. The embarrassment to contact everyone regarding the cancellation. My husband went to the park district to talk things through about lowering the price. No, they lowered $100 less for the amount of 50 people. It wasn’t worth to argue more, so thankful we gotten our full deposit back.

We had our 15 year wedding Anniversary on October 13, 2019. Everyone at the park district was very helpful. The place was clean when we arrived to decorate. They did everything in their power to accommodate us. We would definitely recommend them to others. Fantastic job
