A lovely and private space to enjoy a relaxing getaway with girlfriends! The hosts were very responsive and helpful throughout. We particularly enjoyed the sauna and hot tub.

We booked the two-hour sauna retreat for a birthday and found it to be lovely! A real hidden gem in Urbana!
Communication leading up to the experience was excellent and the sauna itself was perfect for two people to enjoy a good sweat. The sauna is positioned to enjoy the view of the pond on the property, the temperature was perfect, and the recommendations from the owners helped make the experience seamless and easy. We’ll be back!

Beautiful scenery and very peaceful. Lakeview, and upclose to nature. All amenities and spa experience was superb. Felt like a new person afterwards! Excellent customer service. Owners went far and beyond to make us feel comfortable and made sure our experience was extra special. If you're in need of a relaxing, fun and rejuvenating getaway, would highly recommend Ujima Retreat Center!

Ujima retreat center was a wonderful place to hold our 3-day meditation retreat. Although it is near a fairly busy road (the ONLY down-side to this center), we had privacy and felt near to nature. The facilities were wonderful, the house very clean and comfortable, and the ability to sleep some attendees in tents was greatly appreciated. The fact that the center is IN URBANA and affordable made it much easier for people to attend. Shanelle and Banio were very easy to work with, and even re-arranged furniture to fit our needs. We will definitely use this center again!
