We only had one night at this lovely location, but we enjoyed every second of it. The cabins are just charming! They are clean and spacious. The owners are super nice, with great communication and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Right around the corner from everything Talkeetna has to offer. There are not many cabins, so if you are looking to stay in the Talkeetna area, don't hesitate and get your booking in! Highly recommend!!!

Absolutely the best place to stay in Talkeetna! Spacious, spotless, heated, genuine Alaskan log cabins with immaculate gardens, great kitchen and lounge area, and super comfortable beds. Central location within easy stumbling distance of the great local pubs and restaurants. Nothing was too much trouble for the owners Bill and Jodi who were very welcoming and gave us great advice on places to see and things to do, and even helped us with our laundry which had been piling up for days! This was the best accommodation we had during our fantastic 4 week holiday in Alaska in July/Aug 2024 (and we had great accommodation throughout the trip!). Highly recommend it, and will definitely stay there again if we are fortunate enough to visit Alaska again from our home in distant Western Australia.

Really loved staying in the Talkeetna Cabins. Great location to town. Owner was super friendly and accommodating. Weather was in the 50's and raining, but the heat made the cabin super cozy. Cabins are very well cared for as they look brand new. Best lawn in Alaska. I'd stay there again.

What a perfect place to stay in Talkeetna! Central to the town, dining, activities and view of Denali. Once there, you won't need to use your car at all.
Bill was super accommodating and helped arrange some excursions for us. They even let us do a few loads of laundry without charge.
The cabin itself was perfect for 4 people. It was warm and inviting and had a great front porch. We'll definitely book Talkeetna cabins again!

The Talkeetna Cabins were very comfortable, cozy and clean. The cabin was spacious for our family’s needs. We loved how central the cabins were in the town of Talkeetna. We would definitely stay here again if we’re lucky enough to visit Alaska again.

GREAT place to stay in Talkeetna. Extremely clean and well kept, both inside and outside. Bill met us at the train station and gave us a quick tour of Talkeetna with eating and activity recommendations. He also let us know when Denali was out. Talkeetna is an unusual place and super interesting. Spent 2 nights. Did a glacier landing from here and it was one of the highlights of 11 day Alaskan vacation

Alaska Railroad booked us in these cabins because the Talkeetna Lodge was full, and so thankful they did!! These cabins are gorgeous, a true Alaska experience. The owner Bill picked us up at the train station himself and brought us to the cabins, took us a tour through town to show us where everything was located, and got us settled in. He gave us restaurant and ice cream recommendations and even went to get me a flashlight so I could walk outside at night to look for Northern Lights. The cabin was super clean, fully stocked and it was nice to be a two minute walk to all the shops and restaurants. The folks staying at the lodge had to wait to be shuttled back and forth. The owner again picked us up himself and took us to the train station for our departure. Definitely a 5/5 experience but more of a 10/10!

Talkeetna is a funny little town! Kind of an old, beat up look about it, but lots of character and - at least what I perceive as - authentic Alaska! As for Bill's beautiful cabins, nothing old and beat up about them... clean, spacious, comfortable. And Bill is a super host. Restaurants, coffee shop, drinks, and a very sketchy little general store (with liquor) all within 2 minutes. We had a wonderful, albeit brief stay, and hope to be back again.

NOT TO BE MISSED... the pastries at the Talkeetna Roadhouse - 2 minute walk - are to die for! (I believe these are weekends only)
