I’ve stayed at a lot of hotels, but this was probably one of the best. Not only is the price extremely affordable but add the heated pool, hot tub and breakfast you’re borderline spoiled. No to mention Daja who, works at the front desk is awesome and makes you feel right at home. Check in was a breeze and the location is easy to find. Did I mention that they also have complementary juice, coffee, tea, and cookies?
The rooms are clean quiet and updated. and the in-house toiletries make bedtime easy for for families with kids. Definitely will be staying here again and would recommend anyone visiting the area to book this hotel

Positive: The beds were comfortable. Negative: The hotel seemed to be extremely understaffed. They only clean rooms after four days or after you check out. While I understand that the breakfast is complimentary we've had fresher and wider selection at other same priced hotels in the area.

Positive: Water pressure in shower was good. Bed pretty comfortable. Negative: Bathroom was very dirty. Floor especially. I?m sure the carpet in the room was too but that was harder to see.

JACUZZI SUITE NON FUNCTIONAL. Was told we were not pressing the button on tub correctly (?) NO. BROKEN TUB. Employee interrupted our stay at almost midnight to show us how tub works....NO, BROKEN!!! Then offered a room switch (it's midnight) Incredibly overpriced. Not adjustment or refund for room. Hot breakfast advertised was EMPTY well before end time and very sparse other items. Manager Nerissa sends photocopy word for word bulk email replies to complaints. DO NOT STAY.

This hotel is literally the worst. Whoever works here lets their children ride scooters through the halls. At night let their children stomp through the rooms running in playing til nearly 1am. The front desk is RUDE. They don’t want to give out extra blankets and make you come get them yourself. Not hospitable and all and I say this from experience it not being my first stay here. I also have a friend that uses this hotel and has experience the same exact thing. When I did get sheets and blanket the protective sheet was stained with urine. Breakfast was cold. The biggest issue is staffs children being let to run around and disturb people all day but especially at night. Literally from probably 4 in the afternoon to 1 am.

The motel was great. I would not recommend the cafe next to Country-Inn & Suits. The Applebees resteraunt , more than 30 minute wait and steak was so tough I could hardly cut it with a steak knife. I didn't send it back because we couldn't wait another half hour. Also while we were waiting a person came in who had pre=ordered and I noticed he waited for 15 minutes they said it would be alittle longer and he walked out, which we should have done. I will spread the word about the terrible service at Appelbees.

Positive: The room was clean for the most part. Negative: The room was definitely old and a lot of the paint and caulking was starting to give out. The carpet was stained. The coffee maker still had water in it from the last person. The staff was not very friendly. The price was outrageous.

I am writing to express my deep disappointment with my recent experience at Country Inn & Suites in Dubuque, Iowa. I had to cancel my reservation just hours before my scheduled arrival due to an unexpected family emergency involving my “extremely sick grandchildren”, which required my immediate attention.|Unfortunately, I was met with zero flexibility regarding your cancellation policy. While I understand the need for policies, I believe that genuine emergencies should warrant some consideration, especially when circumstances are out of the guest’s control.|This lack of understanding and empathy from the hotel management has left me feeling not only frustrated but also disheartened about staying at or recommending your hotel in the future. Situations like these are an opportunity to show compassion and build goodwill with customers, but in this case, that opportunity was missed.|I kindly ask that you review this matter and consider offering a more accommodating approach for emergencies. I would appreciate a response to this request.||Peter F.
