I stayed in the one room cabin with my wife for two days. The cabin was perfect for me and my wife. The price was very reasonable for this popular area. The cabin was very clean. The kitchen was well equipped and we used to make dinner the one night. The location is wooded and private and convenient to Talkeetna. The hosts were very accommodating.

During our short visit at Talkeetna, we spent the nigth at the Fireweed cabins. For the first time i actually felt bad of leaving a hotel room. that's because this want not a hotel room at all. the room is extremely comfortable as well as the owner's are so thoughtful, the room had softdrinks, beers in the fridge, games for family and children etc. its like they thought of everything. They are also very cordial and nice people. will recommend this place to stay to all my friends and to all who want to spend a nigth at a home away from home.

Absolutely the very best place I stayed in all of Alaska!! Seriously! Had everything I needed for a place to stay. A bathroom!! Which I didn't realize was a rarity in Alaska. Great shower, hot running water, toilet. Nice clean bed, kitchen, coffee/tea, really nice leather couch that makes into a bed and a TV. This place was easy to get to, right off the main road. I highly recommend staying here if you are in this area. You'll be happy that you chose this place! ?

Great place 2 minutes from town. Host is friendly and accommodating. Bed a little squeaky, but great for one night. Loved it!
