Holes in walls, rusty water comes out of bathtub water, sometimes the heaters don't work

Towels were stained, and the workers were terrible to us. All they have is TV no wifi, and the bathtub was dirty before we got in. There was also mold in the ceiling of the shower. They also didn't make you feel safe as there were bullet holes in some doors. Definitely do not recommend🤢🤮

It was terrible, the first room they put me in was disgusting and still looked dirty and smelled like pot which didn't bother me. I wonder if it's a crack motel. They were nice enough to move me to another room which I guess they thought was better still dirty not Jane clean. Stains on the walls burn marks in the blankets just nasty don't stay there unless you're broke. I was afraid to sit on the bed let alone sleep in it!! Whoever does housekeeping over there needs to clean better. Oh and it cost $110 for two nights and she kept the $10 when I left she stated for cleaning I told her that's what her cleaning people should make $10 a day because they're not very good, I clean for a living!

I recommend for people on a budget. They’ve recently renovated the place and it looks a lot nicer than most of the 1 star reviews from 1 or more years ago.

Though the rooms aren’t the top of the line quality, but they are clean, beddings smells good and no stains of any sorts.

Well within the value of what they are charging. And the staffers are nice.

I gave them 3 stars because I’m staying here now because I’m working close. Rooms are clean and nice for a motel. The only thing I dnt like and the reason I gave 3 starts instead of 5 is because they control the heat in the office. You can’t control it in the room. It’s to cold in Illinois for each person not be about to control the heat from their room.

Stayed here in May because I was visiting starved rock. The location was great, the downtown is only a couple blocks away. Great happy hours after a great hike.

The rooms were clean and the front desk was very friendly.

I question just how often the linens are laundered. Went to towel off and found long strands of hair on the towels. The price is cheap but you get what you pay for. The man at the front desk argued with me and called me an idiot. A word to the wise. Stay away. I hear that the Cops are out there quite often and that on an occasion people come off the street soliciting or just trying to sell something. The woman that works there was civil. The man was crass and negative.

Place is ok for one night. New managers are on issues. Rooms are clean and well kept. Some rooms have high traffic, and there are rubber bullet marks on a lower units door. Lol. But it is turning around.
