I can’t recommend The Vault enough! We hosted my rehearsal dinner here and Jamal was the best to work with! The space is beautiful and we were able to customize the menu to be exactly what we wanted!
Jamal went above and beyond for us and I hope to have more events here in the future!

We just did my mom’s 50th surprise birthday party here and I have no complaints. Jamal and his staff were extremely helpful and personable. The space was beautiful, Reasonably priced, and the food was amazing. I would definitely recommend.

My very first experience here was amazing. I took my mother for her birthday and we ate in vault. At the time the vault was a bit hot, but they were still in the works. The food was amazing, and unique. Some things were new to me but I loved trying them. The deserts were AMAZING. The key lime pie was my favorite. They display them beautifully.

The staff and service was great. Fondly became close with Jamal through our multiple experience and the new years event they held. He’s a great server, and great with his attitude and work ethic. I love having him as our waiter every time we come in.

The place itself was clean and beautiful. The stunning decor and set up. They really put time and thought into how they set the place up. Tables were clean, plating was clean.

Each experience has been unique, some waits longer than other but overall they are very good at keeping you updated and have given me great service every time. As to the waiting time I was completely fine with it because it gave time to socialize at the table. Everyone is so use to ordering and getting food right away but when you sit down at a place like this I believe you must take it in with those you are their with.

I think it’s very exciting and different that they have movie dine-in nights and with live music now and then.

Overall recommend trying the place out and giving them a try with an open mind 😁

We got nearly once a week. Amazing every single time. The staff is welcoming and happy to see us. The food is incredible, Tim never misses a beat! Got the parmesean crusted steak. Absolutely delicious.

First time trying Gaetano’s and had a great experience. Growing up in Streator, moved away as a young adult, I’ve been really excited to try this place for a long time and see the historical vaults and decor. The ambiance of the place is so amazing and they even had live jazz with a fantastic saxophonist & bassist.

They did not disappoint! We had a party of 15 to celebrate my mom’s birthday and the service, especially our server Jamal, crushed it. I was truly impressed they were able to handle such a large group so well.

Nobody in my party waited longer than a few minutes for drinks. The bartender Chad also made some truly incredible drinks as well! We had every appetizer on the menu, plus a couple that weren’t and all were delicious, especially the chips and beer cheese! The salads were great, super fresh with shaved parmesan. Everyone’s meals were cooked to perfection. I really wish I would’ve ordered that chicken parm as it looked out of this world. The only complaint I have is against the prime rib as it was only mediocre. Regardless, Gaetano’s is truly a special place to check out!

When I’m in the mood for a steak, my go to has been their NY Strip. It’s phenomenal every time. Kudos to the cooks. Had that tonight with the sweet potato that your fork literally falls through. Their mashed potatoes are just right and when I get mixed veggies they are always flavorful. I haven’t had a bad meal here yet. Try a funky monkey, my favorite drink. Very tasty. Haven’t had something like it anywhere else and it’s excellent. It’s great they have a drink list to choose from. Their whiskey drinks, mules and martini’s are all good. Nice little selection of popular beers too. It’s a really nice place that you could pick up and drop into any city in America, and with it’s decor and classy environment, it would fit in anywhere. The bar itself is one of the most beautiful bars around. Also, the staff works hard and always does a nice job.

The soup was good. The vegetables were tender but not mushy. The beef was tender and flavorful. The broth lacked salt. The cheese curds were delicious light, fluffy, and crispy coating with the cheese melted to perfection. I had the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. The pasta was cooked perfectly as was the chicken. The sauce needed a little more seasoning. My wife had the shrimp and it was cooked to perfection. The atmosphere was splendid. The piano player was at a good volume and the decor told a story. The tables and chairs seemed to me to be a lost opportunity to bring the decor to a five. The service was excellent. She was friendly, helpful and engaging. We will be back.

Great dining experience. The bank and vault make for something interesting to look at and the servers and food take care of the rest. Alyssa was prompt, friendly and informative, checking in us just the right amount. My steak was seasoned and cooked perfectly, an exact med rare. Sides and drinks are exceptional and the prices are very fair. I will stop in any time I am in Streator.
