The were mysterious black/ brown stains right in the middle of the carpet. Two of the towels were used and one of them had a giant hole in it. The shampoo and conditioner they provided were almost empty but arranged nicely as if someone was too lazy to put out a new one. The room smelled like cigarettes even though it was supposed to be non smoking. There is no elevator. The staff was nice but also swore during her conversation with me. I will definitely not be back. The surrounding hotels my friends and family stayed in were so much better!

They can definitely do better. They have an opportunity to improve cleaning for all areas of the hotel. It seems that cleaning is not one of their strengths.
And when you use a hotel you really look forward to find a spotless room.
The pool area needs a deep cleaning, windows included, they are very dirty.

However, it was very conveniently located for us, very close to the NIU convention center. The price was ok. The receptionist was really nice and courteous. The breakfast was ok and nicely stocked.

The place is disgusting! sticky floor, bedding was dirty, asked the 2 front desk persons to changed the bedding and they said there was no house keeping crew and that they were not trained to do beds, they did however changed it but we just went to the nearest store to buy our own sheet set, we are on day 2 and they just replaced the bathroom towel, floor was not even swept and unfortunately you can hear the loud train passing by, when it comes to the “continental breakfast” its just bad coffee and a waffle maker.

YOU deserve better go somewhere else!

overall the only thing about this Hotel the people are nice but your housekeepers need to learn how to clean the floors were sticky the toilet all dirty it smell very dirty. the sinks were always dirty the TV remote was broken could not use or changed the channels. Please retain your housekeepers the being was discusting the Duva cover was all stand with spots the pillows were smelly !!! this was the worst room I ever stayed in I will not recommended anyone this place till their is proper Deep cleaning to this place !!!

Location for my event is excellent! New management seem great. There are some things that make it a little unpleasant though. Right next to a loud bar that makes it hard to sleep at night, water pressure in the sink is very low, makes it a little difficult to get ready in the morning, carpet very dirty, one face towel was dirty before use, and there was no iron in room, only ironing board.

Entire facility was in need of cleaning. Yes they are beginning a renovation but that's not am excuse. Bathroom had soapscum, hair in sink, bedding and furniture showing signs of wear, table tops dirty, etc yuck! The reception gal sent a cleaning person in a timely manner to help but it left us discouraged. At checkout front desk mgr was rude, no apologies and no adjustment on charges.

It is under new management and they are remodeling and replacing little by little the entire place, they were more than accommodating when one of the two rooms I reserved had an A/C unit that wasn't working, they noticed and volunteered to switch me to another one which was actually nicer and in better condition, they even brought me 2 fridges for each of the rooms we had. I will stay here again. It may not be high end everything but their attentiveness and willingness to serve is outstanding!!!! Thank you for great service!!!!

Room on the third floor smelled faintly like old smoke but the floor and furniture all looked fairly new (mints the chair). Bed and bedding were really comfortable. The comforter was heavy and soft. Employees were nice and let me grab cereal a few minutes after breakfast closed. Wifi worked better than most baymonts.
