Employees are so friendly. My kids love the pool and the fresh waffles in the morning are always needed before they jump in the pool! The pool area is always pretty chilly as is the water, kids don’t seem to mind it at all. There’s a rack of fresh towels for when you’re done swimming.

The last time my family and I stayed here it was about the same stuff wrong. This time was much worse though.

While the check in wait was practically non-existent and the service was good we had issues with the room.

First time we had a room there was a bullet hole in the window on the outside and it was line with dead boxelder bugs and stink bugs. Plus side was the TV worked and we could actually hook up an HDMI cord with no difficulties.

This time we spotted a dead boxelder bug, a red bug(not a chitterling) no idea what it was, and a for sure bed bug in the bathroom on the tub. The room had one dead outlet (top plug and bottom plug) didn't work. The lamp on the desk had a flickering light which isnt safe at all. The room we stayed in didn't have an iron so I had to go up to the desk and ask for one the lady had no issue bringing one to our room (this seemed to be the only positive of our stay). We also didn't have enough wash rags. We weren't to fond of housekeeping knocking on the door at 830 in the morning. And something was wrong with the HDMI port (it was stuck in hotel mode)

Clean and comfortable, attentive well trained staff. Plenty of free parking and handicap accessible entrance. The room was quiet and the temperature was well regulated. In short it was a good night's sleep. In the morning the hot breakfast bar was well stocked and ready. The attendant was so friendly and helpful I wish for more people like her in the world. Back at the room the bathroom and shower are big, well lit and well stocked with plenty of hot water. We had a great stay here, thank you.

Reasonably priced, clean, quiet sleeping room. Staff was very nice. It’s nothing fancy but it serves its purpose. Has restaurant attached. Breakfast was not served during the week. Not having an elevator for hauling items upstairs was a downfall.

They jacked up the cost of the room. Poor Continental Breakfast. Trashy dog walking area. Staff does speak good English. Would not eat at the restaurant again.

We wouldn't come back to this hotel. The bathroom in our room had lots of black mold on the shower tile and the tub itself was gross. We had to wear shower shoes. The shower itself also had functional issues and The shower was "warm" at best.

The pool area showed heavy traffic dirt around the pool and the staircase leading to the pool. Mopping the area would have gone a long way. The breakfast was pretty good except the cereal was stale.

In addition, on Sunday, the breakfast was advertised to be available until 10am but they started to close it down at 9:15am. The staff made us feel like we were in the way and by 9:40 everything was put away.

DO NOT book a stay at this hotel!! Rooms are disgusting with black mold growing inside of the shower. Also somebody who I was staying with got food poisoning from eating in the restaurant! Very poor conditions

I stay here weekly for my job. The owner has renovated the hotel inside and out. The lobby is beautiful! The rooms are always clean and very quiet. What more can you ask for? There is a very nice pool for the kids and the restaurant attached to the hotel is excellent. It offers both American and Indian food. I've eaten my way through the Indian dishes and every one of the is excellent. Don't hesitate to stay at the Days Inn Rock Falls. It's a bargain, in my opinion.
