We’ve been here a couple times and most recently stayed this weekend for my birthday. The management has changed and they are prompt about helping and everything with check in went smoothly. The breakfast was very good and the staff even brought me a birthday gift when I mentioned that was why we were visiting the area. The house has a cool history but be aware it’s an old house and has quirks. The bathroom in our room was very small and it was easy to hear others showering. It didn’t bother us much though! They also have Netflix in the rooms which was nice.

Simply amazing! Steve and Stephanie are amazing hosts! Went above and beyond at every turn! We had a problem with our room and they took care of everything! Great location, close to a lot of fun stuff. Amazing food at breakfast! So accommodating with our dietary restrictions.

The breakfast was delicious and the B&B was located close to Saugatuck and Oval Beach. That said, our room was in the cellar, had NO windows and was very cold, in spite of warm summer weather. The overhead pipes were leaking and water dripped onto our luggage and the carpet. There was mold on the ductwork above the bed. The toilet room door didn’t close all the way because the carpet was wet. The dehumidifier was not functioning correctly. I’m sorry we paid $259/night for this room. It was awful.

Our family was incredibly blessed to spend two nights at the Kingsley House with my 100 year old father-in-law who was born there! Chuck and his wife and staff went above and beyond to give us an unforgettable experience. The breakfasts were excellent and the accommodations were outstanding. We had a family wedding in Holland and the welcoming porch was a great place for us to gather. We will be back!

The reservation made 4-5 weeks prior, for a specific room, was NOT honored. We had reserved the largest room, explaining to Chuck (the owner) that we experience significant claustrophobia, thus he recommended the Granny Smith Suite. Upon arrival we were informed our room had been given to another guest and we were being relegated to a windowless basement room with humidity so high the exposed pipes were dripping. The previously stated pipe situation also made the bathroom floor a skating rink. This windowless basement room had a ceiling over the bed 6 feet high. Not a good thing for victims of claustrophobia. The tea and coffee he promised would be outside our door at 8 a.m. never appeared and breakfast at 9 a.m. was nonexistent. Sally, Chuck's wife, said "I don't know why he told you there'd be breakfast at 9. The guy doesn't come in until 10." We checked out at 10:15 and there was still no indication that breakfast was ever going to happen. Our experience at Kingsly House was truly unforgettable in a most unfortunate way. We would neither stay there again nor recommend it to those who we know who visit the Saugatuck area on a regular basis.

Love this place so much. It is a beautiful, peaceful old house, the hosts (it is under new ownership) are wonderful, and the food is so good. We stayed the weekend in the tower and it was perfect. Can't wait to return!

I was in town for the Holland Tulip festival and had never been to a bed and breakfast before. Came across this treasure and fell in love! It was so beautiful inside and out and I loved my Granny Smith room. The bed was so soft and comfy and so was the bedding. I loved my French toast breakfast and the breakfast server ladies were so friendly and so was Chuck, the innkeeper. I will definitely come back this summer for a longer stay and try out the other rooms. Great stay!!

Chuck and Sally made our special day simply the best. Their elopement package was exactly what were looking for and they made sure it did not disappoint. Our private wedding was beautiful thanks to both of them along with the property. Our 2 day stay was tremendous!! Their breakfast both mornings were just excellent. We cannot thank Chuck and Sally enough for how they rolled out the red carpet for us. We are already looking at a 1 year anniversary stay. Highly recommend The Kingsley House and the Fennville area!!!
