Excellent! Clean and new. Staff was friendly and helpful- very accommodating. The pool was very nice- water was warm. Nice workout room. Breakfast was good- eggs, bacon, waffles, etc. Beds super comfortable. Room and bathroom spotless clean. The price was more than fair. Talked to a couple local people, while visiting the area, and they said it was the nicest hotel in town. I believe it. Stayed 2 nights.

My parents and I stayed here while we were in the area for a Princess Bride event. The stay was very lovely! We enjoyed hanging out in the hotel in our free time! Everything was very clean and the rooms were comfortable! The amenities were great too! There was a cute little nook on the first floor where I was able to write and the pool was fun! Also, they always had free coffee, water, and tea in lobby, so big fan of that! Overall, I would definitely stay here again!

We booked a room for 2 nights thru booking.com. We cancelled the trip because we were all sick. When we cancelled thru booking.com we were told we would be charged $186 for canceling. So imagine our surprise when we woke up to find we had been charged over $500. My husband called hampton inn and was told we had to contact bookig.com. We contacted booking.com and they told us we would get the entire amount put back on our bank within 48 hours. We received $99. That's it. Calling booking.com back and they responded that it was Hampton Inn who was not responding to their request to refund us our money, they said they called and emailed this hotel and got no response. We travel to this town quite a bit but will never stay here again. Your hurting for business so much that your willing to steal from your customers. Bad look.

The rooms and facilities were standard and clean and the beds were really comfy, but that was honestly made irrelevant by the service of the staff. I called the night before to see about early check-ins, and the employee was very rude and unhelpful. Then when I went to check in, the employee at the desk was standoffish. At 9am, the morning of our check out, one of the cleaning staff knocked on our door specifically to ask us when we were leaving. Then on our way back from breakfast at 10:15, she confronted us in the hallway and asked us again when we were leaving and if we knew when check out time was (of course we did). The entire stay, it felt like we were being urged to leave, which is hilarious because there were maybe 30 people in the whole building.

Very clean and quiet. Breakfast was hot and good variety. Front desk was friendly. Highly recommend for a very clean quiet nights sleep and a hot breakfast to get you up and going.

I don't really have much at all to complain about for our stay at Hampton Inn in Pekin, IL.
The place was very nice, we had a nice large room and overall, a very pleasant stay.
(Oh yeah....the free breakfast really wasn't that great...but that's minor.)

However, we SPECIFICALLY booked this place (opposed to other hotels in town) because they had a pool and prior to confirming our reservation, I called and made sure the pool was working.
Unfortunately, the pool was FREEZING, so nobody could/would swim in it.
There were even a group of people (8-10?) in the pool area who were also complaining about how cold and unusable the pool was.

To the manager of the Hampton Inn in Pekin, IL: We WON'T be coming back to your hotel.
I hope the few bucks you saved by not bothering to heat the pool are worth it, because you lost all of my future visits. (And it wasn't cold outside...somewhere in the 60's/70's)
I travel to Pekin quite a bit and stay at various hotels during my trips. But I won't be staying at the Hampton Inn in Pekin anymore.

By many options for shopping and dinner.
Great options for breakfast (only waffles no pancakes that morning). Great workout facility and pool was definitely worth it

Excellent stay! Jenn, the lady at the service desk, was very welcoming and personable. |Upon entry, the hotel was spotless. Not a thing was out of place. Our room was equally spotless. From the towels, to the pillows, to the beds, everything was soft and inviting. I'd pick this hotel again and again.
