Well, we used to enjoy going here for breakfast, today however we paid the $20 tab left the food and are now in Tremont at Jack’s to eat. The food was terrible!!! We ordered a Meat lovers skillet … the potatoes, onions, and peppers weren’t cooked and the toast was hard. I think it’s safe to say we won’t be back.

This was our first time visiting this place. There weren't many people in there maybe about three couples so there wasn't much of a wait. The waitress came to our table right away and she was polite and helpful. We placed our orders and received our meals within about 15 minutes. The food was good, biscuits were a little bit flat but you could tell that they're homemade. Prices were pretty decent we probably will visit again sometime.

The Boots are comfortable. The cinnamon swell french toast was worth ordering again, however, you can only get it in four slices. Many people aren't keen of reheating restaurant food, so it's forcing to you to overeat or waste your money on food you won't eat. The biscuits and gravy was edible, but something I wouldn't order again.

Sorry about the half-eaten breakfast pictures. We were so surprised at how great the food was! Especially the biscuits! When we got those flat ugly biscuits, I figured they were a mistake and almost sent them back. Boy am I glad I didn't! They were fabulous! Tasted like they were grilled in a cast iron skillet with loads of butter! Crispy and delicious on the outside and fluffy and perfect like my Grandma made in the middle. Once we got started eating, we forgot all about pictures until we were almost done. Believe me, it looked great, too.

I had to take a picture of those wooden walls. I was kind of concerned having bare wooden walls in these germ fearing days, but believe it or not, they were some sort of wall covering! I literally had to touch it to be sure! Bravo on making it look old-timey but keeping us healthy.

A female server was in the middle of the diner, amongst seated customers on 01/28/2025 about 920am. She mentioned to a customer that she was going to, "Spit in Their Food" her exact words.

I felt relief as she was not my waitress but how gross to say that around people that are trying to enjoy a meal that they paid for.

Imagine my dismay when she was the one to bring me my food. So GROSS! I looked around my food & under it just to be sure she didn't spit in it.

Thin lady with a pink shirt, black leggings, dark hair pulled back, talks constantly. Dont know her name nor do I care to.

Both me & my husband are grossed out and won't be back.

*I cannot think of one good reason to speak of spitting in someones food in the middle of a restaurant, especially as an employee. Do yourself a favor and drive to Jacks Cafe in Tremont. Its a much more professional crowd.

No frills diner offering good breakfast food & lunch & dinner as well. Waitress did perfect and i have no complaints. I recommend this place.
