I loved this ski hill! My dad teaches here and brought me up for a lesson but I wasn't expecting such a special ambiance! Really gorgeous lounge, bar, and rooms. I found it a very classy place, will not be forgetting my time here, and look forward to coming up next year. Go Bartlett!

Called Villa Olivia reservation office to reserve for Sunday Easter brunch 2025 today 4/2/25 this morning around 9ish. Did not get a call back now it is 12:20. So I called again and got the operator, (she is friendly and answered my question) found out that they are booked already for Easter. It's because they do not take any reservation, they will just ignore the message I left or from anyone. No respect, at least call back and let me know, so I can call other venue. Whoever this person I left the message this morning should know better or need more training!

My 8 year old and I had a positive experience skiing this weekend. I was surprised that the snow conditions were quite good (not icy) and it was not crowded at all despite the relatively warm weather. We did not wait more than 3 minutes for the lift. I've been to all the "local" hills, and I'd rate this one first in terms of overall value. The bigger hill is decent sized by local standards, and the lift ticket bundles are a great deal. It's far superior than four lakes (crowded and tiny) and only a fraction of the price of Wilmot, which may have more runs but not much of an advantage of terms of the vertical drop distance.

Villa Olivia ended up being the perfect venue for our wedding! From the first walkthrough to the day of the wedding (6/8/24), everything just felt easy. Lisa was great and always quick to respond to emails. She gave us suggestions and walked us through parts of the day that we weren't sure about.
The week of the wedding, we dropped off all our decorations for the reception and Lisa set it all up the night before. We were able to see it at the rehearsal and she did a great job! We really appreciate all the work that she put into the day! The venue included food, the space, the bar, and the cake. We opted to add in hors d'oeuvres and an ice cream sundae bar! They even offered some decor for the tables. Having everything included made the process much less stressful than I think it could have been!
The day of the wedding, there was a chance of rain. Lisa and the other staff were very patient with us as we tried to decide if we should risk the outdoor ceremony. They ended up allowing us to have the ceremony in our preferred room inside and the photos turned out beautiful! They remind me of being in a library.
Thank you, Lisa, and everyone at Villa Olivia for making our wedding memorable, simple, and for being so flexible and accommodating! Our guests had nothing but great things to say about the food, staff, and space. If we had to pick a venue all over again, we'd make the same decision!

I had recently taken my family here to ski. This was the first time my kid skiing, so there was a lot to learn. I hadn't skiied in almost 20 years. The hills at Villa Olivia are just perfect for beginners and helps refresh memory on movements. There were decent amount of beginner hills and 1 longer and bit more steep one with the chair lift. The smaller hills have ropes to pull you back up the hill.
