I love this salon!! I have being getting my haircut by Jenn M for 10 plus years!! She always gives me a great cut and when I want to change my style she gives me ideas that would go w my type of hair and a style to compliment my face. I can’t say enough on how happy and at home I feel in this salon. Rose the owner is amazing also!!

I wanted to get my hair done before I left for college. A five star salon was booked and recommended I come to Hair Pizzaz. I saw it had a 4.9 rating so I trusted them and scheduled my appt. I walked in and got attended to immediately. I showed the stylist a picture of the brunette balayage I wanted. She said she could do that and went straight into it. It took her about 30 minutes to foil my hair which was not a problem at all, but I didn’t think she had to foil considering it was a balayage. I didn’t want to correct her because I assumed she knew what she was doing and didn’t want to tell her how to do her job. After heating my hair, she took the foils out and she started talking about an ombre which is not what I had asked for. Then, it took her 45 minutes to brush out all the knots she created from teasing my hair to foil it. She started to blame my hair and said that it is taking too long because my hair knots easily which it doesn’t because I have fine hair. She continued to say how my hair was the problem to why she couldn’t brush it out. When in reality, it was because she created a bunch of knots from teasing. After finally brushing all the knots out, yanking my head back 20 times, and leaving half of my hair on the salon’s floor, she started to blow dry my hair saying how nice it looked. When I saw it, I instantly regretted coming here. It was not a brunette balayage, but instead a brown to blonde/yellow ombre. I spent $86 for nothing. I tried calling other salons to fix it, but they were all booked. I ended up just going to Target the same day and box dyed my hair back to brown that night. I was so upset when I walked out of the salon with my hair like that. It was not even a good ombre either to even consider keeping. It looked like it was out grown and was dyed to close to the end of my hair. She did not do what I asked for and I don’t know how she got a blonde/yellow ombre from a clear picture that I showed her of a brunette balayage.

HORRIBLE! LEFT CRYING!

Paid $120 total for my child to get small red streaks that the hair dresser picked, she didn't offer me a color chart.She just got a color and said it was the one I requested (Auburn) and NO its not! When it came to me I wanted my hair trimmed, not my bangs and she bullied me into trimming them. Several times I said no until she had the scissors were to my hair and we weren't getting anywhere, so I said yes mainly to get on with the dye job. I wanted red large streaks with the rest of my hair dyed black. GUESS WHAT! She picked the red again and said it was the red I wanted ITS NOT. I had to take off my glasses and so since I can't see what she is doing she messed up and kept going and when I called her out on her messing it up she went "Oh, well it's a good thing you told me again" and then kept going WITHOUT trying to fix her mistake. I didn't let her finish, she didn't even get 1/4th of my hair done.

I will NEVER go back! I will not recommend anyone to go. I have to pay MORE money to fix this "professionals" errors. If you are a hair stylist and a customer requests something and you simply cannot do it SPEAK THE HELL UP! We as customers shouldn't have to pay and pay again for your inability to do things. If you can't do it then you can't do it, but lying is crappy business.
