Kenya The front Desk clerk is excellent at her job. She took care of all the reservations for myself and family that came for my mom funeral. My family thought she was the manager at the hotel .I personally feels she should be a part of the management team. She is EMPOWERED. SHE DOES HER JOB..VERY PROFESSIONAL, . I stay here every time I come home . I live in Houston Texas. I choose to stay here because of clean rooms. Also cuddos to the cooks that took care of my family every day for breakfast. They worked as severs and cooks with a positive attitudes..thanks to the both of them..again Thank you Kenya for your services..maybe my ect time I come you will be in management.

The staff is great, they got us checked in quickly and the facility rooms and bathrooms are clean, beds are comfortable. Breakfast was great and just what we needed before getting back on the road for the rest of our journey. Luckily, they had availability for our last-minute unexpected stay. We would stay here again if we were ever in the area again.

We booked for a week as we are in town to visit family before we move to Germany. We are with our 2 dogs, infant son, and 9 year old daughter. The first night, tub wouldn’t drain, the remote didn’t work, and we only had 1 one light in the bathroom. They moved us to a new room. We required a king since my husband and I have the baby in the be, and they said they had a rollaway bed for my daughter. That night when we go to again request a rollaway bed, we’re told they don’t have one. So they move us to a THIRD room, 2 queens. We open the door and the smoke alarm is beeping. The walls are dirty, and I decide we have to leave the next day because my patience was at zero. The next day I’m told by who I can only assume is the general manager that THEY DO HAVE ROLLAWAY BEDS. This was the third Holiday inn we’ve stayed at in the last few weeks and each stay was worse than the last. I only gave 3 stars for the staff because the one front desk lady, Kenya, seemed to be the only person who knew what was going on. She was accommodating, friendly, professional, apologetic in the end and offered us a free breakfast for our trouble. There was also a very friendly cleaning woman, but I didn’t catch her name. Oh, and the man who was kind enough to come and change the battery on the smoke alarm. Other than those folks, the experience was atrocious. We won’t be returning to any Holiday Inn.

Everything was fine but the room was not cleaned well at all. There were a pair of work boots in the closet and a sleep eye patch. Behind the head board. I was so exhausted I forgot to check the sheets because we checked in after a house fire. I was very disappointed with the cleanliness. When we checked out I let the lady at the front desk. She just said I will let them know.

Yes this property is being renovated. That is not an excuse for how poorly the property is maintained and the condition that it is in. The tile in the lobby and on my floor was cracked and pieces were missing. The missing section was large enough 6x3 inches to be.a tripping hazard especially at the elevator door. My room had a burned out light, the carpet was dirty, the shower doors were out their track, the water shut off during my shower, the towel shelf was bent out of shape, the HVAC unit kind of sort of maybe worked.. Of course the bed and furniture were in bad shape, I assume they may be renovated. Then the renovation. Hammering and banging around until 7pm is unacceptable but that is what happened. My recommendation is stay away until the renovation is complete but consider that the water supply and room HVAC may not be replaced and if you decide cracked and missing tile is OK renovation may not be the answer to this properties issues..

Seems clean enough and the staff seems nice enough. We chose holiday inn based on being an ihg rewards member and the fact that my kids love the pancake maker at just about every holiday inn we've stayed at. The fact that this location has a restaurant rather than a continental breakfast is on me for not reading the details and just assuming it was the same as other holiday inns. Getting to the room, one of the beds squeaks with EVERY slight movement. The bathroom door lock works as long as the door is open. It won't lock while closed or stay locked if you lock it while open then close it. There appears to be a bathroom fan but it doesn't work. When turning on the shower, a third of the water continues to come out of the tub faucet rather than the shower head. One of the lamp outlets doesn't work at all. The other works but the plug is extremely loose wobbling around in it. I also discovered the door bolt doesn't line up with the door frame hole for it so the door can't be properly locked.

We checked in and the room temp was 63 degrees. We set the thermostat and it didn't get any warmer. Called the front desk and a person came to the room and said it would warm up soon. The warmest it got was 66 degrees. My mistake, I thought I booked a Holiday Inn Express so no included breakfast. When I told the front desk person who was the same person on duty when we checked in about the room temp he gave us one coupon for a free breakfast. There were two of us. He pointed to the #2 on the 1 coupon. the coupon clearly said it was for 1 breakfast. He didn't make it clear that the 1 coupon was for 2 breakfasts. The communication skills with each other were not good, we didn't realize it was for 2. It would have made more sense to give us 2 coupons. By that time we were loaded and ready to go so didn't eat the breakfast. He did kindly reduce the bill for the overnight stay but overall the experience was NOT GOOD. When I asked why the room was set to 63 degrees he said that some people like it that temperature. Maybe where you grew up but not in the USA when it is cold and we had been traveling in snow all day.

Do not recommend this hotel if you are used to staying at Holiday Inns. Room needed serious attention to detail. Bath towels were missing from room. Knob for bathroom fan switch was missing. Worst of all, the hot water in the shower cut off three times during my shower. It wasn’t that water switched to cold, the water stopped running. Room was also poorly vacuumed.

Tried to reach front desk from room telephone, but it didn’t work. Explained to desk the following morning. Received discount for inconvenience. Discovered the next day they tried to charge my card for a 30 day reservation after I had already checked out. Eventually had charges corrected, but am still pending original charge despite being charged for discounted rate. Something going on at this location that desperately needs correction. Would not recommend this location for IHG members.
