My husband and I spent 3 nights at this campground while we vacationed in St. Louis for Spring Break. The campground has great highway access, very easy to get to downtown STL. Only issue is its location in a heavily industrialized area. I knew this beforehand but underestimated the amount of noise that occurs 24/7. The first night there was a train rolling through every 30 mins blowing its whistle. The road is insanely busy and nearly impossible to turn left out of. My other issue... there is a neighborhood located across the wide road- It is sketchy x1000. We unknowingly drove through the area when avoiding the left turn out of the campground- I am talking crumbling and burnt down homes, absolute blight.
The campground itself was nice for us as a couple. It was quiet and most of the time you did not see many people. There are a lot of long term residents there, but the campground was completely full due to Spring Break so there were quite a few visitors as well. We loved the fact that there was a BBQ place right on the campus you could walk to. Food and service was great! Many of the gravel pads were new and freshly graded- very easy to park and level our camper. The bath house could use a little updating in my opinion, it was a little dark in the shower area. One toilet was out of service in the women's. My husband said the men's was in worse shape with pretty bad shower heads and one shower broken. The owners were very nice, check in process was easy and they called to verify our time of arrival the day of.

Cross country RV trip with the family, and we needed a rest for the night. We arrived rather late in the evening, but our online reservation was still available. We got into the RV park with very little
maneuvering. The RV slips are very large, and the connections were easy to connect and made the process a lot easier. We were in town for only the night, but it was enough to know that we will be back. If you happen to be in the area, please check out Cahokia RV Parque, you will not be disappointed. Enjoy!

Great place to park ur RV. Staff super friendly. The park is located next to a very busy intersection. This makes it very noisy as 18 wheelers are constantly driving by and sirens and trains are always heard on a daily basis.

Great customer service from Emily! My husband and I were traveling to St. Louis for work and this was a great location with close proximity and easy access to the city. I had called asking about the public transportation situation and spoke to Emily. She was so kind and super helpful and easy to talk to. I called enough times to where we were on a first name basis, but she never made me feel like I was a bother! When it was time for our stay, our truck broke down literally on the way to the RV park. I called and let her know we would be a few days late and she was so super accommodating. A few days later, the car still wasn’t ready so I called and let her know and she was so understanding and updated my reservation. The following day I realized the car still wouldn’t be fixed in time at all and we would have to forfeit our entire stay here. I called and let her know and she was very understanding and extremely helpful! I am so grateful for her customer service and upbeat personality! I can’t speak about the campground itself, but Emily was amazing and I definitely plan to come again, especially because of her!

Excellent location because it is right next to the Mississippi River. You can visit both Missouri and Illinois. Industrial area. A comfortable place. They are friendly. The only thing I didn't like was when they almost knocked down the door at 8am, it kept everyone awake. So we could move the car so another trailer could leave 🤦‍♀️ and the laundry. Dirty machines

I recently stayed at Cahokia RV Parque for 4 days and was quite disappointed. While the location is fantastic for visiting Gateway Arch National Park, the RV park itself leaves much to be desired. The spaces are extremely tight, especially for larger rigs like ours (44/45 feet). There’s hardly any grassy area for dogs, which was a letdown. We were told to park our truck parallel on the street since our rig took up the entire spot, which seemed unsafe and inconvenient for everyone.

Additionally, the propane service was lacking; despite being advertised, there was only one staff member on duty who couldn’t assist with refills. It felt frustrating and disorganized.

On a positive note, the Sawmill BBQ connected to the park is fantastic—definitely a must-try! Also, Layla’s Roadhouse nearby offers great food and a welcoming atmosphere, thanks to the friendly owner, Craig. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend Cahokia RV Parque unless you're just passing through and can overlook its shortcomings.

This rv spot is the perfect location if you’re visiting St Louis. It’s about 5 miles to the arch and downtown. It’s in an industrial area but we felt safe and noise level was low. The restaurant there is fantastic! The ribs and brisket were delicious.
