From the moment we stepped into Cupitol, the ambiance set the stage for a remarkable dining experience. Our waitress, Eva, was a gem—attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely kind, ensuring our meal was nothing short of perfect. The owner, Alex, also made it a point to visit our table, adding a personal touch that made us feel especially welcome.

For my meal, I chose the kale fennel salad topped with succulently grilled steak. The salad was a symphony of flavors, perfectly balanced, with the dressing enhancing but not overpowering the fresh ingredients. My husband opted for the hamburger, accompanied by fresh-cut fries. It was a masterpiece of juiciness and freshness, cooked to perfection, making every bite a delight.

Unable to resist the dessert menu, we indulged in not one, but three desserts: a carrot cake, a lemon tart, and an éclair. Each dessert was exquisitely crafted, boasting freshness, made with real sugar and just the right touch of sweetness, which I particularly appreciated as someone allergic and sensitive to artificial sweeteners and syrups.

Our visit to Cupitol was an unforgettable culinary journey. We left with full hearts and a promise to return soon.

Came in for some coffee and dessert, both were very good. Cheesecake was light and not too sweet. Server was also very attentive, generally really nice vibe to the place. Would visit again to try their other pastries and desserts, there was a bigger variety in the display case that isn't on the menu.

Came in for coffee and a snack. I ordered brewed coffee and their pistachio croissant which was delicious. When you come in, someone will greet you with a menu and assign you a table before getting your order. It’s self service so they give you the food at the counter and they also have another counter where you can get water, sugar, cream, and condiments. The place has a really nice ambience as well. Will definitely go back to try brunch and dinner there one of these days.

Hello everyone! Thank you for reading my reviews and for subscribing to my new reviews. My wife and I went to this restaurant by chance, we saw a lot of people at the tables. We were not mistaken. The restaurant is clean, and this is Mega important for Illinois. The restaurant has good service, delicious breakfasts, the coffee is really European, I would say: Italian. Quiet music plays in the speakers. I did not like the distance between the tables, a little space between them. My recommendation is to look at the photos of the dishes before ordering and take coffee with you to the car. I recommend everyone to visit.

We went here for dinner and enjoyed every minute. Cocktails were delicious and well crafted. The sea bass Athenian toast appetizer was delicious. We also had Yiayia’s meatballs that were oozing flavor with every bite. Being our first time we rounded out the appetizer round with a patatas bravas. The garlic aioli and chili mayo completed the perfectly crisp potatoes. For our entrees we had the lamb shank and paccheri pasticio. The bordelaise sauce with the lamb shank was a perfect blend of savory and sweet. The pasticio is one of those dishes you won’t want to skip over. To finish out our amazing meal we had the skillet cookie that was the cherry on top to this great meal. Would highly recommend this place. Great service and food.

A beautifully laid out little restaurant, with plenty of seating, great coffee and good food. Also a little bakery with plenty of unique sweets. The vibe was quiet but alive, and service was good. Would absolutely recommend dropping by for breakfast or lunch

And finally, FINALLY!! A CUPITOL in Old Orchard! I’ve been going to the Evanston location for years, they have the best coffee around me (and the pistachio croissant is to die for). They recently opened in Old Orchard - and it’s gorgeous! The interior design is beautiful, the space is huge, their menu features breakfast AND dinner options, and the quality is what we are accustomed to at the other locations. I’ll be a regular here!! Pictured here are lax bagel, yoghurt with fruit and granola, and of course their amazing latte.

I highly recommend Cupitol!! It was overall an amazing experience! The ambience was warm and inviting. The staff were incredibly attentive and so friendly!! The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful! Perfect spot to grab something quick while shopping or enjoy a night out!
