I’ve been going to Tricoci in Old Orchard for 10+ years. You’re not going to get a better wax for a great price anywhere else in northern Illinois!! The women here provide an excellent service - quick and relatively painless, super friendly and the pricing is less than anywhere else I’ve tried. I’m so happy with the service I drive ~30 min to Skokie when there are plenty of other places very close to my home because the service at Tricoci is that great. One last note - for many years, I specifically went to one person at Tricoci but recently I’ve started to go with whoever is available for my last minute appointment and everyone I’ve had has done a superb job. Give them a try, you’ll be very happy!!

The manicurist I worked with was sweet, however you can tell that Tricoci overbooks them and they are overwhelmed. The manicure itself was well done and relaxing. The gel itself is too thin I think, I couldn’t do anything with the hands the first 2 days because I felt like they were going to break off. These are my nails after a week and they still look great!

Hello, Nita at the Skokie Old Orchard location needs a raise!
Nita is simply exceptional and highly skilled in working with all different kinds of hair. The other places I've been to had stylists who were not exposed to diversity in hair types and always thought my hair was "too dark" or "too thick" to work with; they would even charge me extra.
But Nina, who Does know diversity in hair types and has experience across the spectrum, from thick dense hair to thin fine hair, was easily able to work with my hair. She will never make a client feel bad for the type of natural hair they have. She is a beautiful human being inside and out. Whoever the supervisor is at Old Orchard needs to give Nita a raise!

I loved my experience here! Everyone was very welcoming and my technicians understood exactly what I was looking for. I saw Gianna for my hair color and Yuvi for a blowout- this duo was gold! Gianna returned me to my natural color and there’s a beautiful richness/depth to my hair that I love. And Yuvi gave me the perfect bouncy blowout and was so fun to talk to as well. Everything in the salon was clean and overall- it was a great experience. 🙂
