We saw the recent production of "Nightshade, love can be a nightmare" that a coworker was performing in. Very enjoyable and memorable evening was had by all. We took a little tour of the arts studio as well. There were some awesome works displayed.

I am always surprised by the innovative use of space. I recently discovered the Theater section of Side Street's complex and kicked myself again for not getting out to the Fringe Festival offerings. What a great intimate space for live theater!

Cool gallery, we stopped in to see the battle of the bands. The upstairs was closed but also looks nice. Seems like a cool place.

Wonderfully supportive atmosphere of, by, and for artists. Fun place for community gatherings, budding artists of all ages, and the art curious. Affordable pieces for sale. Ever changing exhibits. Theatres upstairs. Many free or low cost events. Absolutely no snobbery here. All are welcome.

Nice local art studio to Elgin. They have rotating exhibits which showcase themed submissions from local artists around Elgin. There are some open mic events and such which have a very friendly and welcoming environment. The place is small but adequate enough for the gatherings it holds.

It is a great place to see and buy local art. They offer classes for children and adults. The lab offers services to use at affordable prices. Staff is helpful and you get a membership to the lab. This is a great place for art lovers and it is local.
