A fantastic breakfast spot - cozy atmosphere and a friendly wait staff. Quick service on a Sunday and they were by 4 times to refill coffee which was most appreciated. Decent menu - recommend any of the skillets - the country fried steak skillet was awesome and a lot of food for the money. Highly recommend!

Nora’s Place in South Beloit is a gem of a diner that delivers on quality, cleanliness, and value. The casual ambiance is inviting, and the very clean environment added to the overall positive experience. Service was impressively quick—my server took my order within minutes, and the food arrived in just 10 minutes.

I ordered the French Dip, again with fries, and it didn’t disappoint. The roast beef was tender and flavorful, and the au jus was perfectly seasoned for dipping. While battered fries aren’t my favorite style, they were decent and complemented the meal well.

This spot offers great food at a great price, making it a solid choice for anyone in the area. I’m looking forward to my next visit!

A great diner with delicious food! Worth the detour off of I-90. The service was wonderful and we felt right at home. Music is quiet but makes it feel homey and bustling. I got a country fried steak skillet that was rich, peppery, and filling, and my companions biscuits and gravy were also great. Really good coffee as well. Worth the extra time (and there's some cheap gas stations around to make a side trip of it!)

Nice little breakfast and lunch restaurant had BLT, fries are 1$ extra and a cup of soup. Great cooks, good coffee, great waitress service. A nice place to relax have a great home cooked meal!

Excellent place!
Very warm and welcoming atmosphere and decor- like grandma's house.

Coffee was great and the staff is very attentive on refills.

I had Nora's skillet which was very tasty, hash browns crispy just how they should be- gyro meat tender and a good size portion.

Tzatziki sauce tasted fresh- is this made in house?

Pancakes were huge AF.

I'll be coming back next time I'm in the area.

Server was a doll. I thought she was the owner. She said no, she wasn’t and introduced me to the owner. The owner was not nice at all. If anything, she was moody and rude. They also overcharged me. It’s OK you can keep the chump change. Kid sized sandwich was extra small for the price not worth it.

Multiple Tables were dirty, they charged me $29 for a steak skillet. Food came to us cold, waited 20 min just to get a soda, never got asked how the food was and no refills on anything.
Will never be back. Rude workers
