The servers are friendly and helpful. The food is very good, made fresh upon ordering and served hot. I had a crispy chicken sandwich and it was huge, made of white meat and the bun was soft and fluffy. I also picked up a piece of cheesecake and oh my, that was so delicious!

The team at Somonauk Delite is a blessing to Somonauk. Their friendly service and willingness to work with the school district is beyond amazing. Even when going for lunch and being offered a free ice cream while I wait was unexpected in today's make money society. They have an extensive menu that has been delicious each time I have tried a new item. I appreciate them greatly.

Somonauk is so lucky to have this little gem in town! Delicious food. Friendly, kind owners. Reasonable prices. They put soooo many candy pieces in the flurries (yum!!) Shakes and sundaes are delicious as well. We love coming here for a treat. Oh and the cheesecakes are to die for! Please patronize this business. They are wonderful people!

Service is fast, the food is hot and delicious!! So many options to choose from. Having a place like this in a small town like Somonauk is something to be very grateful for! The mozzarella sticks have a great cheese pull, the cheese doesn’t fall out right after you take a bite. The cheese with cheese fries is delicious, usually you can tell other businesses use the same basic cheese for their cheese sauce, but not this place! The buffalo chicken wrap has just the right amount of buffalo sauce, everything on it is fresh. The mac and cheese is wonderful, spiral noodles with a buttery taste and just the right amount of cheese on it. They also have so many desserts to chose from! Everything is made fresh and you can tell they put so much care into making your order just right. I will continue to bring everyone I know here. Great people and a great business!

I often eat there. Prices are low, food is very good, only 3 tables inside.outdoor tables good.custard & shakes, gyros, and gyros. Mushroom burgers.

Super cute little place with just a few seats inside and some outdoor seating. We’ve been here twice for ice cream and once for dinner. All of our trips have not disappointed! Reasonable prices and they’re always so kind to our family. I’m excited to have somewhere to stop quickly in the area!

If you haven't stopped in here yet you need to. Menu is huge and so far the food is wonderful. I took home a serving of the oreo cheese cake for desert and it was delicious. Definitely a hidden gem.

Have gone by this many times on our outings but today it was lunch time so we stopped. Very friendly people and a huge menu. We tried the Chicago style hotdogs which were wonderful. Large size dogs and plenty of toppings. Ordered a large fry to share and the portion was huge and they were crispy and delicious. We then noticed the dessert cooler and saw a very generous slice of Tres Leches which we had never heard of but it looked so good we had to try it. Delicious! I highly recommend trying this and the portion is big enough to share.
It was a pleasant experience, everything tasted so good and we found a new place to eat. We look forward to stopping many times to try other menu items. We highly recommend having a meal there.

UPDATE: 3/14/2024
We have since stopped and tried more of their meals and all have been very good along with the cherry cheesecake. My hubby is obsessed with their desserts. We have also ordered pizza at least three times from them. They are delicious and reasonably priced. This will be our pizza place from now on.
