This is a top notch training facility that has it all. It is meticulously maintained & cared for by members. If I lived an hour closer, I’d become a lifetime member!

I’m very hard to impress but this place sets the bar for other ranges to model themselves after.

What can I say - friendly people, great area and space for shooting sports. The drive is not unreasonable - make sure to get some BBQ on the way. We love coming out here and shooting as a family. ASC continues to grow and develop new events and facilities which are greatly appreciated by all members. The wait to get the membership is worth your time. Indoor facilities just don't cut it anymore.

Excellent club and facility for recreational shooting, training, competitions, archery, and fishing. It is a private club but regularly has activities/events open to the public to sign up and participate in. The sporting clays course is great and there are shooting bays from 25 feet deep up to 600 yards. The most diverse, capable, and accessible shooting facility in IL

Club is private but hosts some pretty cool open-to-the-public events and competitions throughout the year. Membership is based on a remote interview and a safety examination, resulting in a club membership base that is safe, competent, diverse, and pleasant. There is a refreshing lack of radical politics, and targets in the likeness of any known human being are prohibited, curbing some more toxic behavior. A safe, well-designed facility perfect for a brief weekend plinking break, a day-long drill and practice session for an upcoming match, or to familiarize a new shooter with firearms in a good controlled environment.

THere's a covered pistol range, a number of semi-private bays for small groups, rifle ranges from 25 to 200 yards, and a 600 yard range for use by club members certified in either rifle ballistics or artillery ballistics. The club also features a pretty great set of trap and skeet ranges, a fun and innovative "sporting clays" course that treats small game hunting simulation similarly to a round of golf, a few stocked fishing ponds. I'm not a fan of archery myself, but there is a pretty nice field dedicated to it as well.

Membership costs me less than my habit at Buffalo used to.
